I gotcha, hence the ... T'was a joke...

Perhaps a standard scope and an inverter? I dunno.. Keeps the cost down.

I got my mac laptop from a friend who was going to ebay it. I got it 2 years ago for $1500... with a 40 GB HD, 1G of ram, and an 800 MHz G4.

I don't like most apple products, but those powerbooks can take a beating... they're built much better than most PC laptops.

For example... my g/f uses my laptop a lot, she's dropped it at least 2x from 3 feet up while it was on... no problem, spilled water on it; no problem... etc...

dell latitudes are pretty good too. and some older compaq presarios (the infamous BOB).

sonys are utter CRAP when it comes to that. they shatter and explode and void warranties......

OK, myk tried to answer my problem...but there is one small hole in his theory...ITS AN RX7, not the del sol.
The rx7 is running and idling. But when I hit 3800-4000 rpms, it dosn't go anymore, I can floor it and nothing, stays right there.

And myk, the del sol is not v-tec to begin with, and its down temp. due to a clogged cat. Sorry Xony, we might have to put off your lesson till next thursday.

yeah, that's why I was asking ... how are you controlling fuel on that engine... Are you still using the stock ECU? did you remember to plug in the secondary injectors?

If you're running the stock ECU and forgot to plug those in... when you get to 3800, the primary injectors pulse-widths will cut in half, because the secondaries would normally kick in there... and you'll be getting half the fuel you should be getting which would totally explain your problem.

Ice:

I'm going to put my money on a fuel issue: IE: hows your fuel pressure? How is it at that level? It it bad only at WOT or at all times?

What ECU are you using? If it is stock, are your secondary injectors coming on?

I think it would pay for itself in 1 month if the gas prices hit 275 this summer which they will.

MOPED. nothing better than 150 MPG. and NO tags/insurance/special license needed if its 50cc (or the state THINKS its only 50cc)

only limitation is you cant ride it on any road where the speedlimit is 55 or higher.

Actually I read that the higher trim-level del-sol came with the b16a, which is a pretty good engine... and it's VTEC.
