Maryland guys!
My 1988 RX7 SE 2+2 has been my baby all these years, but I now have to part with it. I'm not a car techie. I just fell in love with the RX7 way back and enjoyed driving it so much! Since I'm not one to rebuild or race cars, I'm kind of at a loss as to how to approach selling it.
Although it is in beautiful condition, inside and out, and still runs, it's probably in the hobbyist category at this point. The compression is low, and it has a couple of leaks, so I assume that anyone buying it needs to be an enthusiast who can give it a new engine. Am I correct?

Sometimes it just takes a bit of cranking to get it to start. My mechanic confirmed that the compression is low, although I didn't get any stats from him. Hope I can trust him!
Wow! Thanks for the offer! Unfortunately, I am not able to go to the next Fudds meet. And, yes, it would make it there quite fine! Maybe the next one, if I still own the car.

Sweet!!
For me it cost the same either way, but historic tags are much cheaper to register.

hi all - i'm a 'maryland guy' and new to all things rotary. i just bought a '94 SSM/Red RX-7 (i HAD to have this specific year/color combo!) and am super excited to drive it home from Ohio.
the car is set up very nicely (tons of mods - but looks mostly stock) but for some reason they did not upgrade the radiator or intercooler. i'm looking for a SMIC and Koyo radiator now. i have been watching the classified section this forum and have started talking with PFS in Frederick (not much luck with them...).
i may do the work myself - but i am wondering who you all would suggest in our area to work on the FD3S RX-7?
thanks very much.

So the car started again and I took it out to wash and drove it around the neighborhood and I notice it has a little problem holding the idle now, like it dies. and some other issues with brakes. Anyone free soon that could perhaps come take a look at my car for me? I'm a lil noob at this still

Hey guys, new to the forum. Stopping in to say hey, heres the car. I live currently in Bowie (PG county) but i spend most of my fun time in Silver Spring/Rockville. So I can usually be found there. Hope to meet some of you all. Take it easy.
