That doesn't matter... the ae92 was FWD and came with a 4age... all you need are the engine mounts.

I'm there a lot, 75% of the people there are clueless... the other 25% are very knowledgeable...

You can get rebuilt/oem parts from several places, I've gone to thepartsbin.com, rockauto.com, etc....

That forum, like a lot of forums, contains a lot of misinformation. Luckily that 25% is pretty vocal.

I've been visiting that forum for years due to the fact that Julian and I have the ae86...

I think my worst experience on that forum was trying to get people to call TuRD to complain about the ae86 header's EGR bung being welded in wrong... most of the people on that forum were ******** and just said "just get rid of the EGR... you can't expect a company to make a perfect header blahblahblah, just plug the hole and shut up" (that's paraphrased of course). Out of the hundreds of people who hang out on that forum... like 3 or 4 other people called TRD... and TRD made a FAULTY product... nobody was willing to call to demand one that wasn't faulty....

Hmmm... What do I want...

I could use an FD alternator or perhaps some S5 NA Rotors... I'll have to think about what I want... Can we tow this Saturday in the evening, or would that be too late? Where are you located?

(I'm trying to schedule towing your car with towing another car in MD so I only have the dolly out once... It can get to be a pain to lug around.)

When we called TRD to tell them about it, they resorted to all kinds of tactics... they went so far as to call us liars and to say that we bent our EGR pipe in the pictures I took and emailed to them so that it wouldn't fit right... They also gave us some bullshit that the canadian version of the ae86 had the bung on the stock header installed like that... so I got a canadian guy to take a pic of his stock manifold, and I took a pic of mine, along with the EGR bung bolted into it, and sent all that, and I never heard from them again...

now they no longer make that header... (instead of fixing the problem... which was easy to fix)

If Derrick wants to see the fine work of TRD, I can show him the header... I still have it.

I'm going to use it on the 20v install because installing a 16v header on a 20v requires "modding" the header a bit, and I don't want to mod my good one that's on there now. Plus the 20v doesn't have an EGR system, so I don't need the bung, and can plug it.

OH NOES!!!

Someone broke into my former TII and fucked it all up, so now he's trying to part it out...

However, i've got an idea....

How many think it's a crazy idea to sell my 240SX, buy my old car (or at least it's parts), and swap my stuff over to a different FC?
