Nope, but that would be super easy... I don't have to do ignition there

yeah you could do that... that's what we did for jason's car.

So do you wanna come check out the unmodded MS I have here? Do you want to buy it or order your own kit? Did you want to wait for me to order the ignition stuff for you and mod the MS? Let me know!

Hmm... well I won't be able to use it without the ignition mods so I guess I might as well just wait for you to do the mods. I'll still come check the stuff out tho.

This article is written badly, but it's about a 'rotary' concept I read about a couple years ago, it's kinda interesting. http://www.gizmag.com/go/3501/

When?

And do you want both of the megasquirts that I have?

If so, I'm going to need to order another for Myk

Oh yeah, and I'm not going to mod these until I get a definite confirmation that you're going to buy them... I need to be able to use/sell these in unmodded form (or with different mods) if you're not going to buy them.

sounds highly inefficient... efficient H2ICE engines have compression ratios much higher than your average rotary ... i havnt read the article yet but what is the highest effective compression ratio achievable with a rotary

A standard rotary maxes out at about 10:1 before you end up with a major problem: The splitting of the flame fronts.

here are the details as i have them right now

I need someone to do Contract and Maintenance Oversight for our railyards. Management experience is a must, ANY management experience that is ...

this job involves overseeing the maintenance and operation of our railyards at manassas and fredericksburg VA locations...on site work would be done at the manassas yard 90% of the time with an occasional visit to the fredericksburg site. Responsibilities include, gerneral maintenance oversight (makingsure the grass cutter people are there and doing what they are supposed to, making sure the trash contractors are there, making sure the facilities maintenance contractors are there. things like that. but also they would be in charge of identifying new contractors to meet upcoming needs that may arise at either yard

most of the work could be done over the phone so being out in manassas is not REQUIRED 5 days a week but regular visits would be necessary especially if the contractor requires a contact to be on site while they are doing their work

right now commitment is at +- 20 hours per week ... no more than 25-30 hours MAX, pay is starting at 15/hr with a little wiggle room.

please tell ANYONE AND EVERYONE that might be interested in such a position

its pretty much flextime unless the contractor is requiring you to be onsite.

i need this position filled QUICK ... or its gonna fall on me and i really don't have time to do three jobs right now

oh yeah ... and 10:1 is very bottom range for H2ICE efficiency ... so it might work ...

what about fuel efficiency ... hydrogen is extremely hard to store efficiently right now ... max compression is 5000psi for storage in most commercially available applications... the fuel efficiency of a rotary is notoriously low compared to a comparable displacement and power piston engine... i.e. 9mpg in a mostly stock FD is kinda low wouldnt you think...

now ... to equal the fuel capacity the tank for the H2 working on fuel efficiency numbers as stated above ... would be larger than the car itself... something on the order of 350 gallons

well think about it ... 350 Gals.. would be be alot but it would take alot for each gal to burn out.. So if you do alot of driving then its well worth getting that many gals.

(hint: Gal = Girl)

if you look at it like that ... yeah sure... hahahahaha

but in all seriousness thats a big problem with alternative fuel cars... unfortunately petroleum based fuels have a very high energy density compared to other forms of fuel

gasohol, or corngas (e85) seems to be a viable option along with biodiesel...

hydrogen has too many kinks left to work out

13Beast REW: So when do you wanna take a look at the megasquirt? I've got a guy sending me a nice etched PCB for the lm1815 circuits (well 3 nice etched ones actually) so that's 2 for you and one for eage8.

eage8: are you DEFINITELY going megasquirt? when do you need it by? do you want to build it or do you want me to do it? $250 sound fair?

Both of you: I need to know this so I know what I need to order and when I need to have the 3rd megasquirt built by. Make that when I need to have the 3rd and 4th megasquirts built by (3rd for eage8, and 4th for the ae86).

what size speakers fit in the 87' T2? All the guides say 5 1/4 in front and back, but I went to circuit city today and they said it would be impossible without having to fabricate some new covers... and that they would only fit on the left front.

$250 is w/o ignition mods

$320 is with... I'm assuming you want it with the ignition mods? And BAC valve control for warm-up?

Oh, really anytime but today might not be good. Supposed to figure out why someones car won't stay running without a jump even after replacing the alternator. Not sure how long thats gonna take but that would be the only thing holding me up. After that I'm available anytime M-F after 3:30 and anytime on the weekend.

Sorry bout missing that so many times. I've been on here at work rushing my posts inbetween working.
