shorts in electrical systems can be found by starting fires :-p
just keep it well ventilated .

everything is running better than usual now so i think it has been a problem since i frst got the car running. i need to get some new bulbs for my gauge cluster though.

off topic..... UPS is HORRIBLE. they didnt ring my doorbell to let anyone in my house know they needed a signature for my package...just left the stupid sticker.

I have a glass door on the rear of the house. I was really waiting for a package that was supposed to be here that day, so I searched the whole perimiter of the house and didnt find it. So I sat down to eat a quick lunch (with my back turned to the window), I turned around after about 10 minutes and there was a sticker on it. I was not pleased.

My UPS guy hides packages in the bushes now too.

Some companies are getting smarter like crutchfield or where ever. When you order stuff online, they're now putting an extra comment box in the order form for you to tell whichever delivery company you use to put it where when they reach your house.

New guy checking in with an Silverstone FD on Blitz 03's . I'm local to Laurel, MD. Anything going on tonight? A couple Supras and I (I used to be a MKIV guy) were thinking of heading down to the "parking garage" in Fairfax tonight.

Later,

Ryan

well it got even worse when i went to the depot
"did you call the number on here?"
"ummm...no"
"well call it and they'll pull it from the truck and you can pick it up monday"
"why the F*** would i want it MONDAY if i could just wait for it to be delivered today?"
"i dont know"

ANYwho....back to cars......need to find a 3" exhaust housing for that talon turbo so i can use it :-p but in the mean time i need to finish cleaning the turbo i already got. make it all nice and purty. also gotta finish sealing my trunk up. the canned rubberizer stuff takes way to long to be useful....i think i'll stick with the truck bedliner spray stuff i used in my spare tire well.

Just call them and say you wish to do a "Same Day, Will Call" pickup or something and they'll bring it to the pick-up after they've done their rounds for the day (Usually around 7-9 PM)

And yeah, you've used enough of the bedliner to consider your car a small pick-up.... why stop now?

MKIII's are for the "little people". You know, those people who are SO insignifigant that you wish they would save their breath rather than talk to you.

Did I pull off the typical "Elitist" MKIV owner persona? Heheh, yeah, I remember when I was faster than everyone else...

Need part - no power steering.

Incidently, does anyone have this just laying around they want to get rid of? It's the "power steering line #1" according to mazda. I found out what the problem was - basically the lowest part bends to the left (or front of the car) which is where the water drips. So what happens? Standing water ... it rusts. You would think that the corner of the bend would start rusting .. nope. The rust section was an inch. What made the power steering fail was I have a safety-pin sized perfect hole dead center of all the rust. Not a slit or a crack .. a perfect safety-pin size hole. Apparently it's pretty quick letting all the PS fluid go too.

So if anyone has one in the MD area ... let me know.
