LOL at the pic...you're the second person to show that one to me.
and i haven't shown up because i live north of Baltimore, and the man(YF19) and i aren't going to head all the way down there during the week. i'm up at 5 am daily for work...and going all the way down there just isn't feasable. we're trying to set up a day on a saturday for folks to meet up.
he or i will have a post up soon about that.

rarity can increase value...I dont think the FD will ever be a young kid's car. The buying price might lower on it but the repairs will always be the same so instead of buying it for 12 and putting 20 into it, they will be buying it for 5 and putting 20 into it...well, probably more after they blow their 2nd motor in as many months.

well here's the thing, FDs mean alot to their owners and people who love RX-7s, but in terms of "value" the RX-7 is just a sportscar, and by no mean a supercar, as some were trying to classify it, the value of a RX-7 is only realitive to the people that love those cars.
Cliffnotes: Will it be rare, yes. Will it be of value, to your average car enthusiast, probably not.

Pagani Zonda - might not be as fast as the Koenigsegg, but looks a lot better in my opinion.
You think the FDs will rise in value? Honestly, I think they're at their peak value as of right now. The averaged used price is roughly ... 20k-ish(?). You might see outside the normal curve of 25-30k or 15-20k for the low side but in 10 years, you're reading this forum =) or reading the newspaper and seeing "FOR SALE - FD 40k". What I would like to see, which probably won't happen, is the popularity and value of the FD affect the FC value. It's really disheartening that you see a FD for sale in the 20's while most FCs are ranged in the 2-3k. Even using the same words like "completely restored" or "like new", most people will accept a 15-20k FD but a 8-9-even 10k FC? People will think you're out of your mind.
I'm sure other car models for instance the mustang line-up, certain model years have been the sought after making other models worth more.

only time will tell about the prices. the only thing that will determine it is the demand for the car.....something is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.

Pagani Zonda brakes down like micheal jackson in trial, I want the car to make it to top speed without having to stop to fix something.
On that note the KOENIGSEGG brakes down almost as much as the Pagani
