Hopefully the Celica kept you safe though... I'm sure it's got better structural rigidity than the Manatee.

I had a 5th gen celica. I miss it so I'm picking up another one this winter. Just a GT though, but its convertible so it should be fun to drive around.

Ya it kept me safe perfectly safe, his truck was more dmged than my all-trac was lol, so was his face lol. Well i have a 90 gt-s that has a blown motor, i need to sell, it has a brand new paint job on it pretty much about 2 years old, dark metallic blue, i was either gonna replace the motor and sell it or sell it without replacing it but considering the condition the car is in, it's worth quite a bit, the car is in excellent condition.

Mine came out of a friend of mine turbo mr2 that is getting a v6 swap. I wish they were not that hard to find ... there were not a lot of turbo celicas sold and the MR2 community not that much larger than turbo celica ...

LOL

...that being said... I definitely wouldn't mind getting one for a daily driver or a rally car... I checked on autotrader and there is one 500 miles away from here for sale lol.

*EDIT*

I've met one guy on this forum from New Hampshire who has an st205 that he bought from some Japanese guy that was moving back to japan. he says he daily drives it with like 500 whp lol. He also has an FB and a Delorean.

the st205 is wow, the suspension on them is incredible, they were way before their time, and even now the suspension on them is still incredible even with the technology we have now they are still great, but they only reason they wern't taken for was that there was so many parts in it. I would soooo love to have a st205 sigh.

The Driver

You guys just REALLY need to read the new novel 'The Driver' by Alex Roy. He's the guy who made the transcontinental run this year in 31:04. The book is INCREDIBLY well written - I've only finished half of it, but then again, I only got it last night

not really since we could prob rig both vehicles up and do an old fashioned car pull. he would get me on the low end, but my turbo spools really fast and low so it would even out fast and then i would pull him.

i dont think you were there when i was pulling his old TII around the farm up hill in gear to seat the seals in the engine. i had to ride the brake because i had too much low end torque in first. I-6 FTW
