Focus people...can anyone do better than $600+ for a Carbon fiber TII hood?
And yeah, World of wheels was beyond disappointing. Even the food i brought in tasted bad once in the door.

i knew there was a reason i never went to WoW. the car show in DC is more entertaining...especially getting in there and seeing what it took to brake the shifter in a brand new car.

CF holds usually cost some coin.

a CF hood on my prelude would have been 450-500 for a grade A from VIS. Doesn't racing beat sell a CF one? i cant' remember.

I'll sell them for 75 bucks for all 4 wheels with decent tread generic p195 tires on them AND I want to see you roast them off as part of the terms of sale.

I think that the forum demands picture to be posted as terms of sale...pictures of the "roasting" that is.

See, you're smarter than you look. Because you realized that the fuel cell vents to the floor of the hatch, right next to the tire

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to say what's up. I just moved up to Annapolis about 2 weeks ago and just got my rx up here last weekend.

I have a couple questions to, I have heard that inspection is pretty crazy harsh on older cars up here(From people at work). Is it really?

Also does anyone know of a decent muffler shop around Annapolis that will help me get my car ready for emmisions?

I have a first gen with the rats nest and air pump removed. Do you guys think it will pass a vissual inspection without those?

The reason why I ask these questions is b/c that my car has been in Florida where they have neither inspection or emissions.

Thanks in advance

inspection

emission wise:
-don't leak anything
-poor some latern fuel into your car right before the test
-make sure you have a decent gas cap.
*thats all they care about*

inspection:
-you want some kinda cat (or cat like) thing and a mufflerish looking thing on there.
-I'd pop some kinda filter and or the OEM stuff back on just for giggle in case they are asses. Normally they don't give a rip as long as the vitals are ok, but there are the few, the proud, the ones with the torque wrenchs up there asses.

As for as the shop thing goes. Maryland Muffler off rt.3 in crofton (not too far from annapolis) is good and gaurentee passing. But if you want a nice sound and gaurentee pass then you might want to take the trip down near baltimore to see BWI Auto Tech. Their number is 410-766-6812

Address is:
7195 baltimore-annapolis blvd.
glen burnie, md 21061

If you want to mapquest it.
Happy trail and welcome to the boredom that is Maryland. Better she you this spring at our rx7 meets. (I love right near you if you want help)

I doubt any inspector is going to recognize there is an air pump or rat's nest missing. But you will need a catalytic converter. I can also recommend seeing Gary at Crofton Midas (a few miles south of Maryland Muffler) for your exhaust needs. Tell him Joey sent ya. He'll remember putting 3" duals on my FC
