Loking for a few small things

 

I'm giving everyone a heads up on some parts that I will be selling. I have a half-bridge ported 12a engine that ran fine when I parked the car to do a 13B-RE twin-turbo engine swap. I will be cleaning it up and doing a compression check on it to make sure every thing still checks out. The engine setup includes a Rotary Extreme dual Weber DCD36 carburetor kit that need to be tuned, I'm great with a laptop and fuel injection, but hate carbs. I am also selling a good 5 speed transmission and long tube racing exhaust system with no cats. The clutch has less the 100 miles on it. I will sell all of it for $1,200.

Here is the engine when I installed it 2 years ago, it has less than a 1000 miles on it since being installed and was only run a on a dozen autocross events, no drag racing. The engine is dirty on the outside, but internally it's barely broken in.


flywheel was resurfaced before installing new HD clutch.

rich do you still have those gsl-se front cover and oil pan up for sale? i was wondering if you have the oil pickup tube as well ? i dont think the 6 port pick up tube will work with the other pan.

 

I do not have the gsl-se front cover or oil pan. I am how ever giving away for free three 12A short block engines, condition unknown. I'm clearing out my garage to move to Florida and have a lot of 12A parts and 13b NA parts if any one wants something let me know.

dont use meetup site its not kept up to date. not to sure how often they meet being the colder time of the year i dont think it picks back up till feb? there is another meetup site that is on facebook you might want to give a try. hampton roads rotary club i think it was?

maybe one of you can help me out. i dont have a mazda but i have a rotary powered beetle. ive been working on getting the engine running and i can get it to run and drive, but i have white smoke coming out from what im guessing is coolant. i really have no history on the engine so im not sure if that is the only problem or really how many miles it has. its a 13b from an 84 or 85. it also has a dellorto carb, racing beat intake manifold and a complete turbo set-up. im not enough of a rotary expert to mess with this engine anymore. does anyone know anybody that buys and sells these engines? not looking for power, i just want a reliable 12a or 13b to stick in there.

I dont have a complete 13 B motor , but I do have 2 blown motors that can be torn apart to make one good motor , or if you change your mind , I also have a 13 BRE mtor , but was kinda saving it for a future project
