im trying to stay away from any turbo motors right now. just lookin for a running complete 12a or 13b or one that i can swap parts over from my existing 13b. i dont have the room to rebuild an angine at this time.

i used to have the montego blue fd about a year and a half ago kicked it with the red s2k. now i have a silver fd and he has a red M3 E46

does anyone have an familiarity with tuning carbs or know a shop or person that does? im running into a flat spot on my dellortos and cant figure out why. this is on an 85 13b. the carb is racing beat prepped and still running all factory jets and tubes

Hey all never posted in this section before but jus a lil background not new to rotaries first off anyway sold my fully modded top mount turbo rx8 last year and picked up a 94 MB rx7 I've since stripped it to practically a short block and have done all reliability and bolt on mods, converted to single turbo, removed emissions, omp delete etc.... anyway winding down on my build up (or so I thought) I noticed a leak around passenger motor mount, well being I installed a oil pan brace, have solid motor mounts and haven't even put oil back into car yet, this leads to only one thing the Rear main oil seal. So on with it....
I need to know if anyone here locally owns a pilot bearing remover and installer tool? If you do than there truly is a GOD! lol but naw lemme know even willing to pay you a rental/borrow fee or deposit whatever just not trying to spend 112!!! for something I'm only going to use once in a blue moon

Anyone have any interest in a VR/Tan interior 3rd gen? Interior is a 8/10 and exterior is the same. Motor went out on me last year and I dont have the time or funds to build the car back up. I planned on doing a LS2 Swap, but with a child due in about 3 months and the need to buy a family oriented vehicle for my wife I cant complete this project. Wont be able to is more like it, and If i could it would be 3-4 years before I had the time/money.
Just a couple details, car had 93K miles on it when it crapped the bed. Has new front and rear bumper and new front right fender. When I first had the car it did an awesome 360 on a overpass and both the front end and rear ends scraped the wall. (accident yes, but just scaped the **** out of the two bumpers) Repair shop said they could not match the new front bumper up with the old fender so they replaced it as well and painted the front bumper, both fenders, hood and the rear bumper. They also replaced the front lip and the rear valace. I dont know why they replaced the rear valace, there was nothing wrong with it. Either way. Car has a couple aftermarket parts on it. I sold the ECU because I knew no one would pay $800 extra because it had an Apexi unit. Car also has DP, High flow Cat, Apexi exhaust. All with less than 1000 miles on it. also has greddy water temp/boost guage on the a pillar. Turbo timer, even though its pretty much useless. Hks twin power unit, and I have a brand new clutch kit from pettit racing that I never had a chance to install. Also comes with brand new goodrich racing stainless steel braided brake lines. Also has Koni Yello shocks/eibach springs. I replaced and did some custom work for all the speakers. Brand new, still not used 6 1/2 infinities up front and 6x8's in the rears. I ordered new speaker covers for the quater panels because the touring model did not come with speakers but pockets back there. The interior is in great shape, Its missing the glove box because i took it out for room, and the map pocket on the drivers side door. Has a brand new Guage hood, bezel, A/C panel, shifter panel, and new vents at the front of the dash. So most of the plastics on the dash are brand new. I did most of this stuff after the engine blew so i would have something fun to do but instead just proved to be a waste of money.
Any ways, the biggest negatives of the car. Blown engine, and I traded my stock wheels for some nice BBS wheels off my friends car. This was after the engine blew as well. One of his wheels was damaged and he wanted some stock wheels so i got the bbs wheels off him. They are hard to come by, so the right rear wheel still needs to be replaced. I wuold say those are the biggest negatives on the car. I am very thorough with my car, it was like a treasure to me and I loved it. Does anyone in the HR area have a set of rear T2 or vert calipers they are willing to sell/give up. I need them for my modified rear axle with a 5 lug conversion on my 83 GSL.
Is he the local Rotor head guru/mech cause I'm having some starting issues with my FD and its driving me crazy. I think I've narrowed it down to the CAS connectors though.
I say this because when I crank her, the commander reads no rpm signal, no inj duty, and no ignition. All my sensors check fine via the commander, I'm just getting nothing, no spark, nothing so what gives? Oh and the little red light on the HKS twin power even blinks when I crank her but still nothing.
I have voltages at all the sensors as well (TPS, Coil harness, Injectors, CTS, etc...)
Someone, anybody (that is more knowlegeable) please help!!! This is so frustrating!!!

Hey anyone here have a FPC Commander. Mine went out on me but im not sure if it's the commander or the Power FC so I wanted to verify that. Just wanted to check by hooking someone's commander up to my Power FC to see if it worked or not. Sooner the better guys.
