I have seen that one up there for sale before. There seem to be a large number of V8 RX7's in our area. Dale has company I guess.

So nobody has posted anything about the gathering with the S2000 guys.

 

All of you guys interested, there is going to be a Novice Autocross Drivers School at Pungo on April 3rd. This is being put on by ODR-SCCA, and is open to everyone, but I think you have to pre-register. I don't have many more details yet, but it will be from 9AM to 4:30 that day. I think the entry fees for this has been about $25 in the past. It is a good event. I will be an instructor, I always seem to end up with all the Mazda RWD drivers for some reason. They are usually all Miatas, but I'd rather teach some RX7's this time around.

Hope to see some of you who want to give this a try. I assure you that you will be faster by the end of the day than you were at the beginning of the day.

I would loved to attend that, but am not sure if I have duty that day or not. Won't know until next week.

Also, that's the date of our monthly RX-7 meet in SC, which I attend whenever I can.

That's because almost no one was there. It ended up being a huge S2000 meet with 3 RX-7's. Where was everybody at, huh? I didn't even have a car, but I made it. Along with Rich and knotsonice. There was some other guy with a mean single turbo (t78) FD. We drove all over the boonies for about 2 hours, and then ate at Fudrucker's. All in all, it was a really good time, but I would have liked to seen more support from the 7 guys. Oh well, maybe next time.

hey guys, its been a while since ive even been able to read any threads on this thing, but it looks like yall have been busy . my dad and i are putting a 12a in an MGB and it's coming along really well. anyway, we've got an 83 that we are parting out, so if you guys need any parts off it, give me a holla at cmcco010@odu.edu and ill tell you if the parts are still available. as of right now, there's no engine/transmission, driver's side door and no wheels. the body's in pretty good shape and the interior is used(best word to describe), i can send pictures if you want. i also went to the TSCC auto-x at Fentress yesterday and it went pretty well although there was only one Rx-7(mine) and only one other mazda (a miata), i think there was about 60 drivers or so. any meets coming up soon? (im too lazy to look back through the archives)

as of yesterday I have a running car again. So I should be at some events with my new car. All is well again. I am taking it to the MADS this weekend. Hope to see someone there.

 

Alright guys, I haven't been on here in awhile because I haven't had too much to say. I went to MADS at Virginia Internaitonal Raceway. What a great weekend. Weather was perfect. I don't remember any incidents of cars having contact. There were a few machanical things, but less than usual.

My car ran perfectly all weekend..... and considering that it had been sitting for a year and I only got it running the Monday before the event, I expected some problem. I took some pictures that I will post when I get time.

I got a little in car video, but it didn't come out too well.

Autocross school was great. No RX7's though. Several Miata's and plent yof other cars. We were there from 9AM until after 6:00PM running. Plenty of pratice for everyone that came.
