Damn.. the offer of two cars.... Sweet. I hope to have something going by then, but I feel a thrash comming on to get either of the cars ready.

My spot is an instructors spot, so I can't sell it to you Rich. If I don't go they can accomodate two fewer entrants (I usually have 2 students at MADS).

Ok, I have a car now. I will post some pictures when I get them loaded. Car is fairly nice, and lots and lots of miles less than my old car. Now I just have to decide if Brownie becomes a track car or a parts car.

It was sitting on a dead end road in Va. Beach... It had come up from Florida and driven around here less than a week. So you probably didn't see this one. Maybe one like it.

 

Looks good. I still need suspension. I am going to have to buy this nice GSLSE I saw and strip it, just for suspension. It runs perfect.

i think its funny how active this thread was when it was cold outside and now that its warmed up it has stopped

 

So who's going to the autocross at pungo airfield this sunday the 7th, and who's racing and who's spectating? Ill be there and i will be racing. It would be great if we could get a good turnout, even if it was just to watch.

its been a while since ive been there. as far as i remember its off of princess ann. it just this cut hole in the bushes on the left. Calvin can give better directions than i could. Ive been out to sea for 6 months.

 

It is just north on Princess Ann Rd from the intersection of Inian River Road. If you are doing a mapquest search look for Pungo Pizza, that is the closest business..

Basically from I-64 take Indian River Road east a very long way until you finally cross Princess Ann Rd, and turn left and about 100 yds on the right you will see a driveway through the weeds. That is the entrance.

From Virginia Beach, I can't really give a "best way" description, but that is what Mapquest, Yahoo maps, etc are for.

if anyone needs help finding pungo airfield tomarow just give me a call (928)710-2298 and maybe if anyone wants to meet at like lynhaven and princess anne and drive over toghether that would work. im driving a 03 dodge with the RX-7 right behind it. I dont know what time the event kicks off tommarow so i will show up at like 8 or 9 unless i hear otherwise.
