Been working... for the Army now at APG. I'm looking to get back into an Rx-7 soon. I'd really like to get another FD that's stock, running and swap it.

But if I can't find what I want for the price I want I'll pick up an FC Roller and do something with it... I kinda want a stockish S5 T2 to play with. I miss my white FC.

Well it's been about 7 years since I last had a rotary powered Rx7.... I'll have to lay hands on one to see how much I can remember. It'd be kinda cool to have a stock one again... where you don't have to cut/weld/spice things together constantly.

Doesn't seem like there are any S5 TII's left. I remember when I picked mine up (Dave Newberns old white FC) for 700 dollars with a blown rear rotor and 80k miles.... Doubt I'll find a deal like that again...

That would mean passing up both the Summit Point track day and the CDC Test n' Tune going on that day. I mean realistically I'm probably not going to get the FB ready for the track by then (if history is any indication), but it is hard to pass up 10+ runs and car sharing at CDC, even if it is only the Frederick lot.

You'd be in STS class (street touring sport) which is a street tire class.... But you'd run in the morning and I'd run in the afternoon, so you should just sign up for SSM so you can run with me

That is a good possibility. Let me know when the signups are and I'll try to make it.

I'm going to sign up for this Saturday. I haven't AutoXed in 2 years. Should be entertaining at least.

I'm signed my dad with me on Saturday. I don't even know the last time he has driven a manual transmission or a car (not truck/suv). That's at least one person you should be able to beat.

I guess I'll be in SSM, and maybe I should start to pay attention to my mods to determine what class I'll end up in.

Doesn't it have a v8 swap?

It'll probably be in XP with the cobras which run at the same time as me

Sweet, I've always wanted to be in the same class as them

Now I need to buy some appropriate wheels and tires for it...

I'm in woodbridge also, I have some spare parts and/or advice as well. I also know a guy in woodbridge who knows a ton about these cars and has a shed full or parts if you need anything.
