Lol, they will never know what hit them. Man u should keep a camera in the car. it would be the funniest thing ever to watch people get beat by something they wouldn't even bother to race. Atlease tell us one story, I know u got some.

Countless stories for sure. For some reason I always get WS-6's and Z28 Camaro's wanting to race. Closest race I had was Ws-6 with full exhaust, (maybe cams cant remember), intake. We raced from 10-75mph and I only got him by half a car length. He was so shocked at the next light asking "what turbo is in there" and even more shocked when I said it was n/a. That was when it was sitting at 190rwhp though. I also get into a races with stock EVO's, stock Rx-8's (his face was priceless too after I pulled over 5 car lengths), S2000's, and Sti's with full exhausts. Since its had 230wheel I have not had any good races. A red GTO with a plate "sik goat" always pipes the shop when he goes by and drives fast everywhere. He has at least a full exhaust and intake, maybe a re-flash. I have been wanting to run into him FOREVER, figured it would be a good matchup. Finally when Peter was picking up some parts borrowing my car, he ran into "the goat" on broad st. Didnt even try to race the Rx7. Later Peter ran into him AGAIN a week after, and he still wouldnt race. Peter really tried, but I guess the 1st gen's idle at the light scared him off. That is about the only scary thing about my FB really lol, it looks harmless as can be. Its VERY FAR from the fastest car on the road obviously, but its faster than everything that would be willing to race it. And that is the best car to have as a daily driver

I am trying to apply this conceptually to an S4 or S5. I don't know what length your runners were before you shortened them two inches. What length did you end up with for the intake?
Racing Beats recomendation for street port exhaust was 22-25 inches for a short system. That seemed a little long is you use that intake/exhaust length formula. But using RB# if you collect on the next pulse out that would put you in the 44-50 inch range or your #. How close are you getting the two pipe lengths to each other?
Sounds like you did a bunch of dyno runs to come up with the 50 inch length. How sensative is the motor to exhaust length? If you can remember does the motor drop 2hp or 20 hp if you go a little to long or short.
Any idea what the header will cost and when production will start?

Torque is not dropping off in the midrange, its just going back to a non-resonance point in the power band. My header creates a great 3.5-4k bump in power, and again at 7-8k. On the FD intake.... been down that road a while ago. I switched intake manifolds to FD upper and lower, to see the results. The FD intake did not make ANY more torque anywhere than the RE intake. But the RE did produce MORE torque from 6,000 up. So the FD intake lost 20rwhp. And this was back when I was at 216 rwhp. Now the loss would be even greater. Simply put the FD intake is designed nice and long, for a very early peak torque.
Thanks
