Highest Power Challenge: 2-Rotor 13B Non-Bridge Non-Peri

We should see how high we can shoot on N/A without losing most of the streetability.

Thus, I propose a challenge.

The only restrictions are that the engine must use 2 x 654 cc rotors, and porting may not exceed pass the limits of streetporting. Anything else, engine or accessory-wise is fair game.

I'll start the benchmark with a low number, my S5 NA block at 170 whp, stock porting, stock manifolds, Rtek 2.0, K&N Drop-In Filter and Racing Beat Collected Full Exhuast.

^^^^^ I definitely wouldn't call that low considering the mods ^^^^^

What car is it in?

I like this idea...

Why only two 654CC injectors?

And if its going to be legit, lets make sure people actually post dyno sheets instead of just saying what they have?

not injectors..........rotors.......2 x 654 cc = 13B, right?

That's the motor in my GTUs, it's going to be detuned for STS2 autox next year.

https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/my-honda-s2000-fighter-709726/

he's just above 170whp with his 13b and 140ft-lb of torque and i believe that is stock port.

Richrotorhead is at 181.50hp / 134.20 also with a 13b (street)

weedwacker is at 157.68hp / 105.00 with a 12a (Street)

ZIIG is at 152.10hp / 100.00 with also another 12a (street)

rx7- smurf po is at 142.5/ 124.2 with a 13b (Stock)

Max7 is at 131.60 / 117.20 with a 13b (stock)

RXtuner is at 149 / 115 with a 13b (street)

We should have a little list in the top of this that would keep on getting updated to see who is where.

I'm currently at 147.30 / 124.20 with my 12a streetported and should be getting close to 160/170 with probably over 130ft'lb of torque with my ITB's.

That should get things started in the right foot.

DREYCO is at 165rwhp

s4 ecu on a safc with an s5 engine

open intake open exhaust
wired vdi and no 5/6 port sleeves
no emmissions
and thats it,
110k on engine

I should be around there possibly. I have the same setup basically except working VDI and AUX and I have a CAI I built for pressure. 115PSI compression on all faces.

I'm currently at 147.30 / 124.20 with my 12a streetported and should be getting close to 160/170 with probably over 130ft'lb of torque with my ITB's
Wow, good numbers for a 12A. You ever think about swapping a 13B in for more ponnies?

make sure you meet the right requirements of the pictures. You might need to resize them.

Rotaman99 - No I do not have any plans. I'm keeping it 12a to stay different. Its nice to go to a meet and just be a tad different while making good ponies.

Nice figures so far.....I'm hoping this gets people to try new things and get close to that almost unattainable 250 whp mark.....without a bridge/peri port.

My setup won't be done for at least 3 years. =(

Same thing i thought. If more people try, alot more things would be accomplished from theses motors. To bad alot guys on this forum scared people away from trying.

I think our problem is that too many people jump on the turbo boat before they do anything. I'm curious however what judge ITO's street port does on the dyno

Yo whoops. My reading comphrehension seemed a bit poor, but still, I think real dyno sheets should be needed.

173 on stock ports and stock ECU.

I suggest a sticky thread similar to what they have in the 1st gen section. Just throw up all the NA power numbers and include a note on mods and porting.
