NA 6port streetport dynoed at 195whp (update)

this is an update to the previous thread
https://www.rx7club.com/time-slips-dyno-128/na-streetport-6-port-dynoed-182whp-details-inside-416012/

installed an AFC, went back to the dyno only to find out that the computer will not let the injector duty cycle go up any higer as i am sure the 460 shouln't be maxing out just yet. i guess the stock computer, even regulated with an afc doesn't let the duty cycle go up any higher, had to find out the hard way. i couldnt get my wideband on prior to the dyno since i did the AFC isntall right outside of the dyno and didnt get a chance to test the AFRs before strapping it on (someting with the o2 bung being busted and the o2 not comming out?)

the car is still lean, i guess well throw in some bigger secondaries and then get the wideband on later and hopefully hit the dyno again. this car shoudl put down over 200 once the AFRs are where they should be.

the green line is from the last time the car was on the dyno with no fuel controller
the red line is the fuel return line being clamped with a set of locking pliars(to raise the fuel pressure)
and the blue line is what the car left with after adjusting the afc (the locking pliars removed )

the afc helped correct the fuel curve under 5000 rpm and made a bit more power, and only a minor correction up from 6500 rpm at which point the afc could not be adjusted any more.

Kahren, do you think that your custom intake manifold/header would produce more? Oh yea you also run a haltec right? Well i'm sure it would, can't imagine what this engine would produce with all that tuned correctly. do you have plans to port your engine like this or have a surprise for the future?

i would add another say 20hp on top of whatever this car makes, if you use my manifold, it is much less restrictive then even the stock turbo manifold. i havent tested my manifold on a ported car yet. i dont plan to port the engine that is particularly in my car, why take apprt a good engine. i have another engine lined up for porting with identical port job that i will use in my car. so well see exactly what power i can get out of it. there is also another motor i am building with this same port and he will be using s5 ecu and s5 manifolds and well be able to compare what the diffrence is between the t2 and the s5 na manifold. and i think i will also swap the s4 intake manifolds on the s5 ecu car just to see what it would do.

I'm very interested to see which manifold will be better for a ported motor, that's a question that alot of us have had in the past. Are any other cars/people out there running your manifold?

something must be up, we were hitting 180rwhp on a stockport before the turbo upgrade (search imprezedrs). get those afr's cleared up and you should definately hit alot more.

Fanastic numbers, great torque curve.

Who did your porting? I'm at the point of deciding who to ship my irons off for porting to.

yes that is LEAN up top, that was as much fuel as he had at the time, the ecu wont let the injectors run any higher. he since has gotten some t2 injectors, but never got a chance to put them in, the driver of this car was involved in a bad accident and is curently in the hospital. i hop ehe gets well and maybe well c the car back on the road.

he was originally goign to go turbo, and with the t2 intake manifolds there woudl eb enouf space to bolt up the stock t2 exhaust manifold and turbo.
