Located in Bozeman. Just got ahold of a green FD that used to occupy Bozeman/Billings. Will be gutting it for a Hinson LS2 swap in my shop if anyone is still around on this forum.

 

If you're going for a swap, does that mean you're parting out what's there now? I'm over in Missoula with an fd that I'm rebuilding and could use a few pieces.

 

Yeah the stock motor and tranny will be coming out in ~3 weeks.

 

Sounds like a fun project. Most of us here seem dead. I'm helping a friend/brother getting his bridgeport engine back together and in his car reciently. I have come to respect whatever swaps when it comes to rx7s anymore these days. There is a guy here in Great Falls that has an lsx fc rx7, its really clean and well done. I'm sure if you had questions I could get a hold of him and ask. I might be interested in some parts from your car, mainly the intake manifolds and intake elbow. Anyways let me know what you think on parting with those parts.

Anyone else got anything going on? Revival time for everyone maybe?

 

I have a 94 FD that I've been hoarding for the past 2 years with the full intention of swapping in my low mile shortblock I bought shortly after buying the car. Got sidelined building the garage for the project and now trying to find the motivation to get the car up and moving, or sell the whole lot and find something else to pour money into lol

Hi all

Starting to think about get the old stock & gutted RX running and back to autocross now that I have a job. The tires are corded so that is near the top of the list.

Does anyone have a set of 4x110 rims stock or otherwise for sale? Should see if it going to run first, but I will need some rims because I flat tow it to events and hate to waste the stickies.

Anyone going to enter the cruising the drag this year in great falls on central? I'm thinking of doing it this year finally and just looking to get a rotary/rx7 section in there this year anyone else interested?

Got my FD back together finally after the engine blew last June. Just need someone who knows something about Microtech's to help me tune or at least get a base map to get the car decently running. But then hope to sell if after its up and running well.

 

Do yourself a favor and get rid of the Microtech.....

 

Yeah I am not a big fan of the Microtech, but since it came with the car I feel like I should just keep it in there and deal with it. Plus I think it would be a big pain to go to another aftermarket ECU and redo all the wiring from the Microtech that has been spliced into my harness.

 

Cool well if you end up wanting to sell it minus the Microtech let me know what you are looking to get.

My rx7 has also been in surgery, but is starting the recovery process. Sticking with twins, because who doesn't love twins? Hopefully have it on the road before the snow flies.

Hey guys I'm a fb and a fc owner in Helena. My 83 fb currently kinda runs she needs some MAJOR loving and a possible 13b rew transplant if I can muster up the cash and convince the mrs to let me. My 90 vert fc doesn't run bought it as a project car for me and the mrs to work on just also have to get cash lol. I believe that silver fd is here in Helena I've spotted him a few times here in town.
