Just pulled mine to install my PFC. Shipping might be a b*tch tho since I'm on the east coast.

Shweetness.
Still tryin to figure out if its going to be easier to mega squirt and get a ebay turbo/manafold then to try and piece together a stock s4 setup on a bridgy...
Im only shootin for like 8-10 psi either on 550cc/680cc or 680/720cc not sure (moar?)
and maybe 300 whp cuz I dont really wanna crack rear plate

Ill prolly do a evo intercooler v mounted, really short piping.
pre and post turbo water injection no meth
some sorta pump upgrade, I want somthin quiet ish so no walbro

for a turbo theres a few choices, stock would be easiest maybe, cus you guys got em laying around
but im leanin towards a chinese gt30 .94 twin scroll hot side, maybe .84
that way I dont have to water cool it.. hah
basically whatever turbo i get i want to be pretty much maxing out its efficiency at 8000 ish rpm
that way i can spool at about 2800. which is pretty much off idle for my bridgy

what cha think?

Go pre turbo on the water injection instead of post and maybe run a little 50/50 mix I can show the the mix. Stock turbo falls on its face around 8,000. Corksport still re flashes ECU's for fuel cut , bigger injectors, exhaust.

I think the supra pump is a little more quite then the walbro

I am not sure if we can pull 300on the stocker.

I was gonna run pre and post turbo injection.
And only wanna run water, runnin water meth makes me nervous
unmetered fuel basically, with not so great injectors. pools up, detonates.
I dunno RICERACING on the other forum made me nervous.
But maybe he just likes bashing BDC for using it cus all his motors blow up

ive been thinkin maybe a aeromotive stealth series in tank pumps might be good

I have only used the walbro and supra so I have no experience with anything else.

You just had 550cc/min injectors right?
Do you remember your AF ratios at all?
Cus you were hittin round 10psi if I remember right

Lets see here. I've had good results running the coolingmist progressive kit with two 380cc/min injectors, one preturbo and one post turbo. With this setup I ran my BNR stage III turbo for close to half a year at 20-22 psi without any detonation on a stock s4 reman.

Aeromotive has some good pumps out there that are quieter than the Walbros.

If you have a bridgeport a stock turbo will be almost useless, it just won't flow enough air to keep up and will fall off probably around 6k or less. You'll make great torque and the car will be very driveable but top end won't be much stronger than a stock TII. You should probably save your money and invest in a larger turbo probably no smaller than a gt35r, and even that would be small for a bridgy.

Sounds good. I don't think I'd want a gt35r tho. That will put me atleast 100hp past my goal
I definitely think a stock turbo is too small.
I was thinkin maybe a gt30, I pretty much want to run the turbo small so I'm falling off around 7800-8000

I don't think I wanna rev it that hard, maybe 8000 tops. More like 7500 really
Trying to get really a good midrange power band, with 320 hp tops
But I'm only after like 270-300whp

I want it to be more balanced, I think it will be easier to drive set up this way
I don't wanna crash this thing much
I'm still trying to figure out a hot side size maybe a divided .93 er sumthin. Dunno
Got a ways to go anyways, I'll be collecting hardware for the next couple of years I imagine

If 300 rwhp is your goal look no further than a BNR turbo. They spool just as quick as stock and make anywhere from 280-400 rwhp depending on the rest of your setup. I bought my stage III BNR for $350 and it made 282 rwhp @ 12psi on a very poor tune and low compression engine. So if you look around long enough you can find a good deal. Or I'll be selling mine probably in several months or so if you're still looking then.

Yup, my BNR hybrid I believe is a T04 with an s4 hotside. Would easily make 300 rwhp around 10-12 psi on a good motor and tune .

Fellas! just picked up a new car! i'm pretty stoked, it's an 1987 black turbo II with 110,000 original miles! it's in pretty good shape, and will soon be getting massive amounts of love!

This also means my turbo II project car is going to be for sale! if anyone is interested in a good running and driving Turbo II that needs some love, get at me!
