I'm still here just barely on the forum anymore never any activity. I havent done anything with my car yet I might work on it today temperature permitting. I dont mind the snow I have subaru powa. I just replaced the pads and rotors on it on tuesday. Should have it together by summer and hopefully our group back together by this spring or summer.

I have some short block parts. such as irons possibly housings and at least one good rotor maybe two, a eshaft and other misc parts to probably have a complete short block.

BTW most if not all parts are S5.

Don't just save your pennies and get a mazda reman or such. I bought one and nothing was good. I got a turbo core, manifolds, intercooler, and tb for $1,000 dollars.

They are running around $3500 w/ core. $4500 without

The core cannot be taken apart or it will not qualify for the discount.

I am going to call appleway tomorrow to see what pricing they have. I will let you know.

I am saying JDM motors are mostly crap. Don't last long if they even run. You might get lucky or you might just waste $1200 bucks. Are you a gambling man?

hahaha chibikougan, ive been reading a lot and have found you are full of truth. i bailed on that idea, i decided to sack up and do a rebuild, but then the rx7 gods came out and showed some light. found a fully rebuilt 13bt with 0 miles and an agressive streetport for a pretty decent price. ordering it today, car should be running by the end of march, the LATEST! lol

CONGRATS RACER55! welcome to your worst nightmare and your best dream! lol ok maybe not worst nightmare but they can be a headache, but stick through it and rx7s can make you smile even when your down on your worst. (atleast when they are running right hahahahaha)
pics of your new car perhaps???

Thanks man. I will try and get some pics on here soon. And trust me, I know how much of a headache these cars can be but I've got some really good mechanic family members and I've got a good bit of rotary smarts with over two years of research. Lol. Been researching these cars since my freshman year in high school =p I've loved them since!

Could possibly be interested in the wheels. What are the dimensions? Also, how do 18" wheels look on an FC? Would they flow with 30mm wider fenders?

I highly doubt anyone has a 20b in montana, the rims are a 42 offset so they would not sit flush with those fenders you would need spacers. They look good on my fd but not perfect
