Haha I am taking forever. Well really all I have left is to build that filter and get an oil filter. Then wait for some bucks for Registration and Exhaust weldup. Should not be to much longer now.

 

I got most of my goodies done with my car, all that's left is the Tanabe Springs, Corksport strut bars, Exhaust, and new battery. Then my sponsor is gonna come and do my decals

 

i think after i get my car out of the shop im just gonna get a new steering wheel and front/rear strut bars and then concentrate on the gold one.

yeah i got ahold of him a couple weeks ago. he said he was takin care of the title and i could come get the car whenever i want. but i think it might be a couple more weeks before i can get it because of money. and i still need a place to keep it but i think i found one. i just need a trailer to get it to shelby. when you are gonna start it up let me know. ill try to help you out if im not working.

I am on a little set back. Cooalnt leak from the rotor housing passages for the OEM turbo are leaking. I ordered a new LIM and some O-rings to seal that bitch up. The whole reason this **** up is happening was because I didn't want hot coolant going into my LIM to the block off plate and casuing it to heat saturate. SO i plugged the passages with Quick Steel and it has been a headache since. Fixed one leak a month ago and had to shave my LIM to make up for the quick steel buldge, hense the reason for another LIM.

Should have everything by Sat and then I am sending the LIM to my fabricator to weld all the Block off plates on to enure no leaks of anysort again!! Also gonna have hime weld some nipples shut on the UIM too.

**** leaks!!!

So hopefully by nextweekend I will be back on the road.


As for tuning I am NOT going above 15psi since I have read countlss threads on the rear casting on S4's failing even when the cars are tuned great. Over 380hp the crack. sucks!!

Tried to get the 1st gen ready for the autocross this weekend. Topped the water off and got it going. Looked and sounded good til the water pump started spittin all over!!! Parts store say 7-10 days for a new one, oh well weather is going to suck this weekend (thats what I keep telling myself). Hope to have it at the Cruzin the Drag with the other SCCA cars May 2nd. Nothin special but fun. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Alright Just to let you guys know I'm looking to get rid of the first gen. And I know there are some guys out there that would like it. Its got 89K miles, racing beat intake manifold with holley carb and header. Holley fuel pump and system1 fuel filter and holley fuel pressure regulator. The Car is in pretty good shape. White paint Black interior. I havnet had much time to do anything with it I got those parts for it and got it started once so it runs. Just havent got time to tune it. If you want to come look at it if your local or just in town your more than welcome to just let me know and pm me your number.

I'm also thinking of selling the Apexi ACVR boost controller that I have in my second gen. If anyone is interested in that let me know also. Will come with pretty much everything that it came with from the factory. Its the earlier blue and silver model. Retails for around $500. Asking $340 plus shipping and paypal fees. Unless picking up localy.


Other than that stuff I'm looking for a radiator mine is leaky. And clean up some more things and see if I can tune it out more to get it smoother.


Oh Yea Ryan I still have that hatch and I think I have a bumper skin but not sure its any good. I'll take a look at it.
