Do they only do basic service .?

 

im constantly seeing fb's fc's and rx8's being serviced, and my snap-on rep says they have a rotary tech too. but ive never had any service done there personnely. mainly cuz i do my own work

 

Oh alright I see is there anyone in Michigan that can do a rebuild for me need another engine or rebuild mine smokes at high rpms has a bad oil seal

 

Like rotor-motor, I do my own work and have worked on many other people's cars, but it is true that there is a rotary tech at Borgman. A 30+ year Master Technician named Mike Cappizzi (not sure if I spelled his last name correctly, but it is pronounced Ka-pee-zee). Extremely knowledgeable tech, and a nice guy, though when he is at work, he likes to work, not "visit" with people, so don't expect to get to chat with him. Years ago (last time I ever saw him), all of the rotaries were automatically handed to him, unless it was something simple such as routine service that anyone at the dealership could handle.

Last year the only other FC I ever saw was when I went to an autocross event at US-131 motorsports park.

This year I've been seeing a bunch of FC's in the GR area. So far I've seen one with Zebra stripe mirrors, there's a vert at a shop by my workplace, there's an S4 NA, and an S5 Turbo. And all of them are Red! I feel like I have the only Arctic Silver 7 in the GR area.

I have a question for all the fc owners. What you guys pay for tab renewals? Mine just came up and it's $101!!!!! Does any one else have to pay that much?

Nah its off of Burton, I haven't been down Alpine in a while.

 

Mine was around $65-75 I think... I know it wasn't much cause otherwise I'd be complaining too.

I'm looking to replace my oil cooler lines for my FMOC. Does anyone know of a place in GR or maybe in the Muskegon/Spring Lake area that works on hydraulic lines that may be able to make these up for me? Thanks

 

Manofthefield. My neighbor had some hydraulics rebuilt/made for his skid-steer, I'll ask him where he went if I manage to see him.

 

If anyone ever goes cruising around the Keweenaw give me a shout, hardly ever see rx's up here.
