the quiet myffler is next on my list.... just got done witha big bridge on 4 port irons. going to try it instead of my big street port 6 ports. but trying to practice drifting with a 3" open on a bridgy... not the best idea for subtle lol

 

LOL yeah my street port isnt subtle and Ive heard bridgeys before. Its almost the furthest thing from subtle you can get. Let us know how it works out.

 

Spotted yet another FB on the road today (that's like 4 of them in less than a month.) This time it was a black one with what looked to be a factory spoiler, westbound on 696 right by the Mound rd entrance, at around 12:30-12:45 today.

 

lol i know there was a bridgyey with a gt40 out on ww fri night.... car was nasty i loved it. so worth the noise for how it sounds.

Saw a rather oxidized looking dark blue (maybe black originally?) FB parked near the traver library in Ann Arbor about 2 weeks ago.

Also finishing up some spring modifications tonight and getting the 'vert ready for the Toledo Airport auto-x this weekend... anyone else going? I think this'll be the first event I'm running with boost control, and just finished installing the mazdatrix oil pan baffle and banzai oil pan brace (i had some leaks from there before, and if I'm pulling it apart, I may as well get everything down there done), as well as some cooling safeguards like thermostat, new hoses etc. Getting her aligned today, and will be ready to go soon!

Keep an eye out for me around Ann Arbor. I have a Sunbeam Silver '85 GS with 15x7 gold Enkei 92's. I am going to be driving it a couple of days a week. I work @ Eisenhower and S. Industrial, and normally drive to Angell School to go running after work, after which I migrate to my girlfriend's place by U of M hospital.

 

Yea, certainly! Maybe in the evening or weekends, I work out in Warren during the day though.

 

I should have my FB out Thursday. I am picking up my girlfriend and one of her friends from the bar tonight after work (long story...), so I'm out in my Impala, and tomorrow I'm heading to my grandpa's 79th b-day party (leave town @ 5pm) so I won't be around town at night in my FB.

I spotted a silver FB last week on Beck Road near 8 Mile last week --- big front air dam and a while-inspired real spoiler. Anyone know the owner? It looked clean...

 

I live and drive in the Dexter/Ann Arbor area of Michigan. Anyways I just got a Black '91 FC Vert. You might see me driving down Huron River drive(HRD). I saw an FB a week or so ago on HRD anyone on here? Looked to be silver or white, you flashed your lights at me.

 

I could've bought a 89' vert for $900 that was just like that. It needed a new clutch and top but that was it. I didn't have the money though and my dad does not like imports that much.

 

Anyone around the Ann Arbor area ever go for club cruises?

LOL! It didn't need a clutch... it needed $60 worth of shifter bushings.

Nice car too. Tons of paperwork and receipts came with it.

 

HPDE at Grattan tomorrow! $225, run all day, 3 levels of drivers, 20 minute sessions.. current car count is ~25, room for 20 more drivers. PM me if interested. Spectators welcome (no charge!!) so if you have never done it and want to see what it is like, please stop out there.

The LT1/T56 vert will be there, going out to swap the rear diffy and a ujoint right now to get it ready.. 2-3 Miata buddies (locals) and a local 7 racer should be there, plus the other usual fun stuff. Looking forward to whooping on the vert, woohoo!

Fricanos on Alpine (near 7 mile) has a huge setup on Tuesdays but more old school iron there (and racing lawn tractors, WTF).. tons of cars tho!
