MICHIGAN RX7 owners?
I checked out the thread Rich. Keep up the great work.
My daughter just stopped in; she's lived across from EMU. And she's been seeing Renyu's FB around town too! She's a big FB fan....

You bought the GSL-SE a couple weeks ago? I've just started seeing a dark grey one in the apt complex near the field with the dog park - I've yelled "Nice FB" at it (probably you?) a few times, not sure if you noticed or heard me tho. I wish I'd seen your post earlier that today, I def would have come check it out, but I'm only on the forums sporadically anymore. If you're having any issues with the FB, let me know & we can take a look at it.
Edit: Oh yea, seeing the pictures you posted & where they were taken, definitely you.

Never heard you shout out before, but definitely feel free to come by anytime to check out the FB. I assume you're the owner of the red convertible FC? I think I've seen you working on that and the Saab a while ago when I still owned a Miata. And thanks pjr for the Cruzin recommendation, I love that it's local. I'll send mine their way once I get the chance to remove them.

Yea, the Saab's my DD & the red 'vert's the project/weekend/auto-x car. I'll introduce myself if I see you around; unfortunately its getting a bit chilly to relax under the car working on something all weekend anymore.
Hahahah well I did the opposite... I was in process of closing on a house and I couldn't pass this FD up. And so here I am lol....
Lol
I had an interesting story for that tbh... I put my TII back on insurance on Monday, a friend of a friend looked at it Tuesday, he drove off with it Wednesday. I looked at the FD Thursday and I drove it home on Friday.... Tis what I originally wanted, I kinda settled with the TII and I didn't put much effort into it tbh. But with this FD I'm making effort, sorta.... Stupid House....
Moved up from Florida last january, had forgotten to post here! I believe I met ramos and arghx out on woodward last summer, good times talking to both.
For others, heres a pic that is fairly representative of my car currently...

Its aim is to be a reliable weekend car for cruising and AX/HPDE
There is a laundry list of things to do now... top of the list includes a coolant pressure test to try and flush out an issue (miniscule leak around turbos, already have hoses that i've preemptively ordered to replace), diff brace, wheel bearings, fluids check/replace, catback, 99spec y-pipe... list never seems to stop with these cars...
Problem is finding room to work on it, the glorified carport the complex calls a "garage" that it has lived in since nov has a terrible floor and floods often, so working there gives me the sads... looking into renting/buying a house 99% because i want a decent garage lol, hopefully one of my friends with the requisite workspace will be able to accomodate me before the seasons for AX and HPDE begin in earnest.
Looking forward to seeing all of you on the roads! (maybe even DGRR?)

Haha... Got a job offer I couldn't refuse... MI has some advantages though, woodward is like no other road ive ever found in FL; an actual cruising road. Also I've heard the roads up north are a ton of fun in the summer (99% of everything in FL is straight and flat), so looking forward to that!
Ahhh understandable, I've been to FL a few times. I like the weather and the water more than better than here that's for sure hahaha... Are you around the GLC area? I travel around that area frequently (damn wife)....
Hey just a good FYI, I host a parking lot on WoodWard in Pontiac every year for Michigan Rotary Club - Index So make sure you guys stop by for a while. Love having the 7s since i will have my convertabile there and maybe even my mythical red 87 GXL there too. Currently started the rebuild of the engine.
You can check out the progress on the Michigan rotary club forum. Nice to see some new people in the area.

Not a bad mall for walking around and I've entertained the thought of practicing AX in the ever-empty parking lot behind the movie theater (were it not for security)
Gregory few: has anybody ever heard of him? he wrote a letter which was published in the "Hemmings sports i& exotic car" magazine May issue...he's having trouble with a gas tank on a first gen.
Neal.
