I put the roller up for sale last night, first $400 takes it. Cleaning out the garage before winter, have tons of FC stuff too. Check out the 2nd gen cars for sale section or PM me if you want details. Will even consider delivery to local Metro GR area!

Cars go into storage this coming weekend.. the 355 LT1 Vert probably goes up for sale in the spring and the Miata is getting a power upgrade... going to be a busy winter.

I spotted a brown GSL in Ann Arbor. It was parked at a house on the west side, about 4 blocks off of Huron. It was parked in front of a Prius. House was on the corner. Just up the hill from the Moose Lodge at the corner of Beechwood and Sunset. Looked clean.

If I had a passport, I would think about pulling my FB out of storage for it. Have fun.

Where are you located, anyway? I really need to see some of this stuff for myself.

Yeah, a 6.0 liter V8 no less... because anything less would be 'easy'. 364 c.i. of pure awesome. Goal is 400 rwhp and somewhere around 2600 pounds without driver.

Jenison, about a half mile west of Meijer on Baldwin.. feel free to stop by, but be warned, I may throw parts in your car when you aren't looking. You need 4 blue FC seats, right?

Seriously, you are welcome to come by, shoot me a PM and I'll get you info. I'll be working out there tonight a little (clean up in prep - putting away summer crap and whatnot), and probably some this weekend since the GF is out of town most of it. The heavy work won't start until I get the kit ordered, which I hope to do in a couple of weeks. I want to figure out as much as I can ahead of time so I can do one large order to try and save on shipping. It's going to be a stupid expensive one, but it will all be worth it. Plan currently is to pull the stock drivetrain over Thanksgiving weekend regardless.

Hey West-Siders! I was headed south on 31 today about 4pm, and looked over to the right of the freeway ito a Mercy Health parking lot --- and saw a first gen! Couldn't get a good look, other than it was charcoal, had factory alloy wheels, and seemed clean. One of us?

So was there a lot of frame straitening necessary? How does she look now?

Got a couple last days of driving in, now she waits for snow...

She looks great now. Basically, he had to pull the right front corner out, as if you were pulling away from the direction of the steering wheel. The support that runs across the top of the radiator was slightly crumpled, and a few pieces of sheet metal around the headlight mount were crushed a bit, but the "real" parts of the frame were still fine.

I'll still need to polish up the new body panels (not quite as nice as what came off the car), and maybe I'll even spring for a paint job next year. But once I reinstall the headlight, put a few more bolts in the body panels, she'll be complete and ready for action once again.

I can't wait for Spring!!!

Yo, my locals! I'm cleaning out the garage and put a huge list in the FS section.. if anyone needs FC parts, check it out. 20% discount for local pickup, I need this crap GONE... that includes the S5 tails, the LSD.. and all the other stuff I have laying around. Still have the 6 point rollbar for sale, too..

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-rx-7-1986-1992-parts-194/stock-fc-parts-931570/
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-rx-7-1986-1992-parts-194/fc-vert-6-point-bolt-rollbar-930715/

And now for some real CAR content:

The FC vert is totally stored, waiting for spring.

The drivetrain is out of the Miata, sitting next to the LS2/T56 setup that is going in.. muuwaaaha!! Swap kit parts start arriving next Tuesday.. hobbling around on a broken toe but still getting things done (albeit much more slowly).

In case the Miata thing interests anyone, I'm doing parallel build threads.. one at Miata.net and one at LS1Tech:
