There is one for sale, 88 vert, $500.. search craigslist (Toledo I believe) for a guy named Charlie in Temperance, MI. Saw it yesterday. Rust free (as in damn near perfect), but smells like a dead animal (seriously, something died in the interior).. nice body if you can get rid of the stink. Motor, tranny, exhuast all removed. Top needs to be replaced soon. But if you want a red vert, not a bad car. The phone # is missing a digit, search for Charlie and Temperance and you'll find another ad for a body kit red RX7 that has the full #.

I'm slacking here too, but there has been a couple of really nice days that made up for it But I'm moving soon and I get a garage so I have to hold off for a couple weeks.... I'm about 1hr north of you.

Getting violations from the city .

A while ago (probably 2 months by now) I dropped the entire subframe and front suspension out of my project FC so I could get the subframe powdercoated and get all the suspension bushings done. So the car was then sitting on jackstands in my driveway with the front suspension off from then till now. Admittedly, it is kind of an eyesore, but I never thought much of it. Unfortunately, a bunch of other stuff came up, and I never got around to getting the front suspension done so the car still sits. Fast-forward to last week, we get a letter from the city that states we are in violation for 'storing a junk vehicle on the premises' . It says we have 10 days to get it off the property (AKA into the garage). So sometime next week I'll have to call over a bunch of friends to pick up the front end and wheel her into the garage. Sterling Heights is a bunch of turd *** haterz. I guess S4 hate extends beyond the RX7 community

 

Going to strip down the 87 T2 with the LT1/T56 setup and stuff it in a 91 vert I bought.. building a new motor for it as well, target is 380+ rwhp. Should be a fun toy when I get done with it.
