I was the other FC owner. I got there as fast as I could. Even that was a little late. I'll have to make the hike a little earlier next time. It took longer than I thought to get there from Sheboygan.

I most likely will not make it this Friday. I have been told by the GF that I am going to dinner with her and her parents that night......"sigh." If I'm able to make it there, It would be close to 9:00.

However, I hope to see all yall at the car Don Jacobs car show on saterday night!! Looks like we are going to have at leist a few Rx-7's in attendance, me for sure!!

 

I can't make it friday, but I may go to the show saturday if I don't go to joliet for NHRA qualifying .

 

Haha yeah. It started out needing a rebuild. My first thought was I hated the AFM. So what do I do? Buy a Haltech. I then bridgeported the housings only to find out that they both had a groove in them that I didn't see before and were junk. So whats the next logical step? I went with a 13B RE. Bought a T-76. Was convinced to buy a GT40R and bought a front mount (yes I had all the support mods)
Got screwed over a couple of times and decided to sell it. But it would have been a bad *** car. Well, actually it is a bad *** car. I got a ride in it. Its rebuilt with a large street port now and a gt40. sooooo gooood. I'll see if I cant get him to come out.

I picked up a new Turbo II. Not as much done to it. YET! but it runs, so thats a large improvement from last time.

I am also curious as I work every friday and most likely will never make it out...not like my FC is worth it anyways

I will take plenty of pictures I am bringing my 7.1 mp digital camera and my dad is stopping by later with his Fujifilm slr type camera. There was one other seven i saw at kopps chatted wit him for a while, cool guy. A police officer was prowling the parking lot for a whil, me got scared. They had some Allen Edmonds sale tent by kopps too. Hopefully tonite is a good turn out, my gf was kind of sad there wasn't more cars there at kopps. Well anywho hopefully i will see you all tonite.

 

Yeah NOOOOOOOOOOOBODY came out Friday!!! what happened. I told a bunch of my friends to show up which they did, and no one else came. Granted they don't have 7's but they still have some pretty sweet rides.

 

Just throwing this out there, I'm thinking of heading down to great lakes dragaway friday night if anybody would be interested in cruising down there, possibly making some passes?? If not, it is always fun to watch. I don't know if they will let me through tech because I only have a 4 point bar and have yet to wire my external disconnect. My dad ('04 zo6), brother ('04 wrx) and brother n law (400 whp sti) will probably be making the trip with me/us. I will bring my mt drag radials mounted on stock fd wheels if somebody wants to try them out (no big burnouts! ) Anybody interested?

 

Totally there dude! Just let me strap some chains on the 7 and we are off. The JDm tranny dude that sells them on this Forum hasen't answered me requests yet! Money sent tranny still not here!

Don't worry about it man. Drag racing ain't my forte. Though when I get the car running I'll have to give drag racing in the 7 a shot. I wouldn't worry too much about the tranny, the guy is usually super aoogd about this stuff, something weird must be up.

 

SO is anyone actually showing up tonight? Or am I better off installing my suspension?

 

I don't know if I was thinking about it but if no one else shows up again, plus my dad wants me to take him to a movie tonight for early fathers day

 

My neck is out of order again (slipped disc), so racing the car is definetely out, driving the car is probably not the best idea either.

 

Yeah I'll probably just work on getting my car in order then. Next time you see it you'll all be so amazed.....at my stock TII
