I think thats bound to happen, but if we just hang out together I don't think they'll swarm too much, power in numbers? I will for sure be there the first friday in (June 1). So that's at least one fd3s. I believe Adam said he might be there too. The only thing i am worried about is would they tell us to scram for loitering, we could all get some ice cream or something and be legitimate customers :P

Nah this isn't your typical Oscar's parking lot on highway 100. Besides there is a bunch of empty spots every where around Kopps. Also, since its highly visible from Bluemound Road it could actually attract lots more people to come check out some pretty sweet looking cars.

 

i should be able to hang out for a while on the first, i'm going to the brewers game that day too. so i'll be in the area.

 

I just sent an email to the president of the RX 7 club of WI telling him about our little get together so hopefully this will bring out even more RX's

 

dont know if he would bring them to the hwy 100 area though... maybe a park somewhere in the middle so we can have a bbq or something...

I will be there for sure! Im hoping to bring the FD but if I don't, it's for a good reason. If you see me rocking the stock Jetta, it's because the FD is on jackstands getting a whole new single turbo. I'll bring pictures to show the progress if thats the case. But no matter what, Im there.

We did this get-together a few years ago and we were never bothered or asked to leave, not even once. Frankly, i think it was because there were no idots around duing burnouts or doughnuts in the parking lot. We also parked by the food pantry just next to Kopps, which i think closes at 7:00. They were closed for the night, so they didnt care.

lol, i just got booo'ed!

I wish i have everything for it. I'm still waiting on the computer from Japan and the turbo kit it self. I wanted to install the computer first, so i know it started up and ran before i put the turbo kit in. It would make my trouble shooting eaiser if something went wrong. I still have yet to order the kit but, it should only take a weekend or two to get everything installed.

outside of that the only other thing is trying to change the fuel filter this weekend - I gave it a try last Saterday but gave up after a few hours trying to get my fat hands above the diff to get the dam thing out. Its sad, i've rebuild engines and I cant even get the fuel filter out, LOL!

 

Count me in for friday, june 1st. I'll call a couple other local 7 owners and see if they would be interested.

Not that this matters or anything, but June 1st is Drop Fest (big tuner car show) at WIR in Kaukauna, I don't know if that affects any of you guys. Buckcherry's going to be there, too. I'm not sure if I'll be going to Drop Fest or this meet, I'll speak with my decision maker.

I will still come to see some Rx-7's but I doubt my FD will be in attendance. I'm almost positive I blew my engine this weekend. I'm getting the compression tested this week to confirm my fears.
