hwy 100 in milwakee

all 7 owners in the milwakee area should meet up on hwy100 so all the kids driving around in civics won't know what hit them, any better suggestions on a place or a date?

unless you want your car impounded I would suggest you go somewhere else. Cops are horrible on that stretch...

I roll through there every once and awhile. The cops are always out in heavy force on the weekends, so be careful!

I'm out there every once and a while too. I normally just park at Oscars and watch all the cars get pulled over.

And Garrett, I saw you the other day out in your FD - I Just wanted to say that the new MS GT bumper and Work wheels look SICK!!!

I saw Garrett at Road America, and while he blasphemes with his pistons, it sounds like sex.

IN other news, nobody cares about ricer civic bois anymore. I'm not wasting gas on a punk with a penchant for shiny light up things to put under his car and dashboard, on his wheels and exhaust tip.

Agreed lets not be those douches that show off their cars in order to cover up for other insecurities. We know we have awesome cars....as long as they run...and even if they don't haha! Knowing that should be good enough. Realistically, I don't even want to take another chance down at the hwy, already got pulled there twice, admittedly I deserved it but I can't help but boost when it works.

Geeeee Garrett I wonder why your new MS GT bumper looked so sick

By the way lets not be civic haters, or Integra or anything not Mazda for that matter...well okay hate the domestics and those damn swedes with their damn over the top Koensessisggigsgsigssgsses. No one can deny that Honda's are very awesome and tunable machines, always will be and always have been. Feel free to hate the culture that runs a muck with them, but don't forget that at one point or another you too were a silly *** little kid that just wanted to be loud noisy and fast!....After all in the end isn't that what an FD for the most part is anyways, with our 3-4" full exhausts and high horse power numbers?

A few years ago there used to be a get together out at Kopps in Brookfield. There were several Rx-7's and 8's, lots of S2000's, a few NSX's and even some last gen Supras. It was a "supper-car" show and cruse, most Wed. for Fri. nights in the summer. For some reason, I dont know why, the meets just stopped.

It would be nice to have a semi-regular get together! For the most part, my FD is the only one i see, well except for Garrett's car....but that dosent count because he has a LS1 (just kidding - your FD is still awsome Garrett). I would enjoy a rotary (& LS1) get together.

If yall want to informally organize one, I'm down. The Wed and/or Fri nights at Kopps worked out in the past, maybe we should give it a try once more. If not, well hopefully we can organize for local car shows - in years past, I have not only been the lone rotary but, in most cases, the only Mazda. Seriously, my FD is not the one you want repsenting all that is Mazda.

The kopp's get togethers are fun. We should get something going. There are a lot of rx7's around, but I rarely see them out. If it's nice out I drive all over the place for the hell of it.

I will get in contact with Tim Zimmer (silver 10 sec eclipse) and Ken (former cym r1, now drives yellow 355) to find out if they are planning any regular cruises this year.

Yeah, I had big plans for the exterior, the MS GTC bumper was one of them. But, I blew the turbos....rebuilt them....blew the primary again and now I am just prepping the car for a GT35R or T04Z swap. The Fiancé has me on a budget since we are buying a new house soon - so it was either “go-fast-parts” or “look-cool-parts”…..I went with Fast.

(edit)^^^^^^and I am down for the Kopps thing too. Just about any night works for me, Fri/Sat nights are easiest.

I have a gtc replica from raceonusa sitting in my garage I will sell for cheap. It will need a some fiberglass work for a perfect fitment around the hood area.

hmmm, you have any pics of the fitment when it was installed on your FD. I remember you saying there were some bad gaps. If its not too bad, I might be interested.

As you can see it doesn't follow the contour of the hood very well, but that should be able to be fixed with some work. Most body shops should be able to do this. You can come check it out anytime.
