Hey guys, I'm from Bellevue, IA, which is about 20 minutes south of Dubuque right along the Mississippi. I would love to come to this meet, but I just picked up my first FC, which I purchased in Madison, WI. It needs a good wax, wash, and interior clean before I take it anywhere. It's got 79k original miles on it, and it's an NA. Anyways, I would love come to another meet later this summer when I've got everything fixed on the car. If you guys want, hit me up on MSN. Jason....sorry about the paint taking awhile. I stopped by yesterday to check out the progress. He's working on the front left fender right now. Already got the mudd on it fixing the dents. He said he'll try to have it done next weekend. It's alot of work for him to get done.

Yeah.....sorry about the NA diffuser. I got the TII housing in the mail today. Looks good, I'll bring it by with me when I stop over tomorrow evening. What time are you planning on being at ur place? I might have to work late tomorrow. Let me know when you are planning on getting there. I'll check back to this thread off and on during the day tomorrow.

If I travel for an rx7 meet I'd like to be able to bring my car at least. It's not ready to go yet so maybe next time. This is the first I looked at this thread too so it's kinda last min for me if I went. Thanks for the invite though. How far away is ellis park from omaha?

 

I think it's about 4 1/2 hours.

weather is a total bummer but oh well.....

better than rain and better than the weather at Rotary revolution.

I think if this location works out we can try to have another one later in the year at same spot.

I also think that 2-3 meets a year is about right. Too many can get troublesome.

 

It's really nice out here right now. The ground is still crappy from the thunderstorm last night, though.

I'd make the trip but our sad 4 person Omaha meet up is 2morrow also. Next time I'm down since everyone here likes to do more talkin than actually coming to meets. Any other day fellas, had to do May 14th didn't ya. Oh well, lol

Just wanted to thank everyone who came out to the meet. Other than the cold and wind i think it was a very good event! Met some realy cool people, and saw some very cool cars. I would have to say the cruise was the high point for me. Rolling out of the park all lined up 8- 7's deep was awesome! I am in no matter what for the next time!
For everyone who missed it..... you want to make it out next time. Thanks again everyone.

I think we had a good show for Iowa. I think we had about 12 or so rotary powered cars. There are more out there that I know that couldn't make the meet.
