Arrow 400+ hp Microtech Club - Whos In It?

I'd like to think I'm Initiating my way In there as I'm waiting for everything to tie In together...slowly, but surely.

Who's In It? What Microtech are you running and details of your setup would be great.

Let's hear of the 400+ hp Microtech RX-7's.

WOW how well does the engine perform in the 12's for your A/F ratio? Any major signs of knock? I've never seen an A/F curve that flat and level in the 12 range

I've been driving it for almost a year tuned that way and have had no problems at all. I run 13 psi on 93 octane and 16 psi on 100 unleaded.

I'm planning on getting there. I'm not sure how much boost I'd have to run on my little 60-1. I am about to put in my 1600cc injectors, fuel pressure regulator, and put my 850s as primaries. I'm on stock ports too.

I don't want to post under somone that made 480 but..
I made 300 at 12 psi....ran out of fuel = (

LT8
street ported S5 TII
T04B
2- 720's 2-860's
and all the other junk.

I'm dropping in a pair of 1600's right now and going to try and squeeze 390-400 out of the to4b before I go 60-1 hi-fi. That should push it to about 18-20 psi before the t04b falls flate = )

Oh yeah, I drive the car every day.

How the heck did you run out of fuel? I was running a TO4E at around 12-13psi with 550's and 850's and had no problem.

They were at about 73% (41 psi base press. with a RRFPR) and Rolo said any more isn't good. I always tought 80 was OK but who in there right mind would go against what Rolo suggests? After 25 years of tunning the MT and seeing him pull a extra 60 HP out of the engine, with almost not even looking at the hand controller....

I'm going back this SAT. so he can play with it more

Oh, remember that a t04b will out-flow a t04e

I thought 85% was OK, but then again, I've heard nothing but good things about Rolo, so...

Hmmmm...I always thought that was the other way around. I guess I learned something new today.

T04B will not outflow a TO4E, a 60-1 wheel in a t04b housing will outflow a smaller T04E, and a 60-1 wheel in a t04e housing will flow even more....

I want to be in, just have to get the MT in this summer and pick a turbo. In all honesty it will probably be next year before its done.

measly 320rwhp

I hit 318 at the wheels in my 89 S5, so i guess that's about 400 at the flywheel...see sig for specs. But my battery recently blew up and the moron who installed my lt8 didn't put in an inline fuse. So now i'm upgrading to an LTX12, hopefully that'll help a little and it'll give the option of upgrading a a 20B later
