I have an extra bedroom you are more then welcome to stay at. I can introduce you to some quality college girls too. Whatever you need.

Finish?lol. I change my mind way too much to ever "finish" the car. I think it will always be an ongoing project. I can tell you this though, it is the last time I pay for another paint job.

They are pretty sweet in person. They look a little small on his mkiv though. Nice wheels, too bad they are discontinued, it was one of few wheels I liked that Rays/Volk made.

Looks good. When I pick up my car in Orlando in August, I would love to check out your car and the 20B! Eddie and this car were a big influence on me getting the rear spoiler:

As I sit here at work, here are some plans I am developing for the interior
Double Din:

Going to be a perfect match for my piano black dash. Can choose up to 112 differnt colors so I can match the amber light. You can also change the background. Has 5v pre-outs, ipod capability, PEQ, and nice amount of functions. Just looks so damny sexy, brand new on ebay for like $430. I can afford a more expensive unit, however, I don't need GPS and IMO I can't find any double din that is sleeker.

I am going to run the HKS CAMP2 monitoring system through the double din. This usually connects to an obdII port, as you know we dont have one. So, I have to buy a seperate interface, I can monitor boost pressure, oil temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure, and egt through this. Some screen shots:

BTW, I have gotten a lot of questions about who sponsors me or if I get free ****. I 100% don't have any sponsors, I have paid for every single thing on this car without the help of sponsors or discounts. Excluding what I can get for myself through Rx7 Boutique and Japan.

I can attest that Bryan has no sponsors...I've offered him free man hugs for almost two years and he won't even take those. =(

Unfortunately, cool is usually associated with expensive. HKS pricing if I bought new:
HKS camp 2: $535
Universal Adapter to monitor speed, throttle etc for non obd cars: $100
Iterface unit: $100
Boost Sensor: $140
Temp Sensor: $64.97
egt: $140
Pressure sensor: $140

That is about $1200 for the whole setup, retail value. I am going to try to snag a used one over in Japan, but I am going to have to pay retail for the sensors, adapter and I/F unit Still going to run me close to $900. If I were to go the defi bf route, like I was planning, that would have ran me close to $1100 for 5 gauges and a defi control. Could have snagged that for close to $500 over in Japan, gauges are pretty cheap there. This is it in a NSX/na2

Yea, when your 6'5 those are no longer man hugs. Some would consider it third degree rape.

We decided on an exactly color, House of Kolor Candy Apple Red. Holy ***** was it expensive, just the money in paint alone. Here is an example of HOK Candy apple red:

How about PLX gauges instead?

www.plxdevices.com

You can have all of that plus more for about 70% of the cost. I'll post my setup soon. I have two of the multi-gauges that control and monitor 7 different parameters (AFR, boost,EGT, oil pressure, water temp, oil temp, vacuum). It's an alternative for you.

Whatever you do, keep the gauge clutter to a minimum. Nothing more annoying than a bizillion different gauges on your dash or on a pod

This is why I went PLX. I have two pillar mounted gauges that display 7 different parameters, with the top showing 4 and the bottom 3. Each display can also show one reading at a time and in this mode, my default is AFR and water temp. You can also read peak and hold points and set warnings for each measurement.

The only thing PLX currently cannot measure is fuel pressure which is why I still have one Spa fuel pressure gauge in my glovebox. PLX states over the next month or two they'll have this also and I'll move this over to my PLX units then so I will measure 4 parameters with each gauge.

David,

In your opinion, how accurate are the plx gauges? They seem pretty cheap for what your getting, I just don't want to sacrifice quality for price.

I have some PLX gauges myself, a wideband and an EGT. I can tell you for sure that the wideband is dead on. The EGT I've never compared it to anything else

I recommend a T56.

I've seen the PLX gauges and they look pretty good. I can't speak for their reliability/accuracy though.
