No new updates on the project, I have been really busy lately and besides that I have had to allocate my funds to a new computer, pettit repair bill and a $1500 LSAT prep course. So money has been really tight.

I am currently waiting to hear back from another member on a Rotary Extreme n1 hood. I am hoping to get that in within the next two weeks. Currently, all I have left is the hood, mirrors, wheels and suspension, then it can go to paint. On that note, I decided to go to 18" bbs lm's after looking at pictures I think 19" would look way too big.

I also thought that 19s were a bit too big on the FD. Also, don't forget the 5speed swap on your list of to do things

Thanks! It is definitely taking a bit longer then I expected, but I want it to be just perfect. I honestly cant wait til do the 5 speed swap, the auto is bugging the hell out of me. Will get it done once the exterior is finished and I can move onto other things.

Haha, that should not be a surprise at this point though. After looking at this picture, and another one I cant find (silver fd with feed front and silver bbs lm) 18" seems to be just the right size.

YES! That is it, it was on Ebay recently for $20,000 and was the main reason I went to 18", except I will run a 35 series sidewall compared to his 40 which will save me over an inch in tire diameter.

Definitely getting the knight sports lights, but its at the end of my list as I dont need them for my car to go to paint. The super 7 rear is a bit too much for me and it is way to aggressive for my build, just isnt for me.

Can you source those lights and how much do you think they cost? In the thousands or under the thousands? I'm looking to get those for my car. I want to go FEED front but I might go OEM for everyday driving, and then FEED for track. =]

Nice, love the engine bay and the radiator panel. I agree with the bling bling, but the black rims will definitely set it off

Haha, you need to stop stealing all my ideas! There is currently a set available for $900, I am sending you a PM in a few minutes.



As some of you know I have been importing parts on the side for people, and recently I decided to do it full scale. I was always partial to 17s on this car unless you had to clear brakes, the proportioning seemed just right, but the more modern look is definitely in line with the 18" wheel. I LOVE those Silver LMs though!! WOW, what offset and size are those. I want!

Me too. The 19's are sweeeeeet, just not for this car :/ Maybe for my project nsx I will run 18/19 lm's. One car at a time though, and need to save for law school at some point or another. Hopefully going to UCLA law or Berkeley Law, so you might be seeing me in a year or two.

That is SICK! Maybe one of the cleanest set-ups i have seen on a black fd, what kind of drop are you running? The silver lm's are 18x10 on all four corners, I *think* +38.

Mine has Blitz technospeed z1 19"s in the rear and 18"s up front.

Here is a quick photo of what I was doing (silver or black / chrome or polished).
ended up with black & chrome lips.

Ya, I will end up doing the black with chrome lip also, looks much better. Mine are 18's all around.

Anyways, heres a few more pics of my 02-09 car, about to purchase a roller for 09 project

Mini-update. Put a deposit down on a rotary extreme n1 hood, not shipping till April 8th though. Also, going to be ordering a set of Aragosta coilovers in the next week. That means, all I have left is wheels and mirrors. So paint *hopefully* by the end of May.

No. I am having the toughest time deciding on a color. I kind of want a candy apple red, but a little darker and not as much pop, something cleaner. Also dont want the price tag of a candy apple red paint job.

If you look at the 350z in this guys signature from supraforums, this is the color I am shooting for:

maybe rosso metis?


I want a dark red with no pink/orange hue.

this is shift red on an mkiv, I dont think it is dark enough and I dont like the pinkish tone. I also dont want some TOO dark either, ie burgundy.

possible, the color is crimson pearl red.

The Cadillac red is the closest to the 350Z red IMO... but I like the Shift Red overall.

rosso metis is not so cheap as rosso fiorano. i was thinking also shift red for my project but i cannot find the color code. i saw a superb citroen with dark red color. i must chech it out again!!
