messing with the hood

So I picked up some vents from my local U-Pull-It off a mid 80 GTA Trans Am and put them on my spare hood .. I did this to help relive under hood temps..
Heres some pics .. this is just a start the hood will be painted and is goning on my other 7 ..

Why are you concerned with underhood temps? does this car have a huge turbo or something? You should stick you head under the hood of an FD with stock twins after some spirited driving.

so I got them installed and painted.. I sanded down the hood useing the factory paint as a guide coat and got it nice and smooth... I then hit it with 4 coats of primer and 3 coats of flat black to seal it all up until I have the rest of the car ready for paint.. heres some pics

Nice work but they just don't match the FCs body lines.
