Thumbs up Let's see pics of aftermarket seats in installed in FDs!

I searched and there isn't much in the way of aftermarket seats installed in FDs (Sparcos, Recaros, Corbeaus, Bride, etc).

Let's see what's out there, seeing them installed will also give a good idea of what will actually fit

Just marking this thread so I can post later. I had just installed my memoryFab carbon fiber seats, and will take pics on Wednesday and post once my raceshop 4-pt bar is installed.

I have a Corbeau A4 and this brand is the only that makes a mounting bracket for the FD. But I had to move the seat over towards the tunnel about 1/2" on the bracket to clear the door if the seat back was folded all the way down. The seat belt attachment then rubbed the seat, so I had to modify it also.

Not my car, but pics of the Corbeau CR1's:

Andy,

I just recently spent 2 weeks in Ireland. Saw a yellow FD with 99 rear wing in cork, and also saw a red FD with mazdaspeed wheels in the limerick area. I don't suppose either of them were yours?

I don't want anyone to even ask how I got these in there. Tenzo R rally buckets.
sorry about the pics, that is my old *** caveman camera. BTW, these are the most
comfortable seats I have ever sat in, stock or aftermarket. they hug like a horny girl.

These are my beater CR1's, keeps the wear off my leather seats. I've had them for over a year and love them. The socket wrench is there for reference to show you that there's about 1/3" clearance from hitting the door

I'm still wondering if Sparco Roadster seats fit. No one wanted to answer my post in interior.

Do you know their measurements? how wide is the base of the seat, and how wide are the bolsters?

Aside from those with rz/spirit r seats, how many were able to use their factory seatbelts (vs harnesses)?

If you look at my seats Rich I still have the ability to use the factory seatbelts, that's what I use most of the time since it kinda looks stupid to use the harness while driving on the streets, oh and you barely can move around with the harness...

Right, your seats are similar to the rz's in size, shape etc so I'm not surprised that you retain use of the factory seat belts.

I am looking at some Sparco Milanos, and wonder if there is any way to get the factory seatbelts to work with them.

I found jayspec7s site which details the install of the torinos (milanos) into an FD, but he used harnesses.

Do you know whos car that is? I am looking at Status Suzuka's and I am wondering what rails to use. The seats work well if you are around the 200lbs mark.
