There is only one way to learn. Stick with it and take your time and you'll sort it out.

I think Hitman took his site down. It had a good tutorial on the E6K/X install. Do a search on here for Hitman. Someone else may have hosted his info.

OK, im still pretty confused with this. Im thinking the previous owner of the Haltech may have added different colored wires or something. Instead of having WHITE/BLACK BLACK/GREEN and LIGHT GREEN wires. I have GREEN, RED, and BLACK. so im not quite sure wich goes where anymore. he had them labled but they must have been wrong. because only 1 wire is supposed to go to the leading coil.

Also, am i connecting these wires right to the wires coming out of the coil? cutting them away from the stock plugs?

Im a little out of my league i feel when it comes to this install. Im more of a builder than i wire guru.. Ive even taken Automotive Electronics classes at the local college. I still hate this crap..
thanks for the help guys!

Ok, so I switched the wires to the correct spots I believe. Now I'm firing on the leading coils. However, I'm not getting anything from the trailing coils. Am I missing something? Is the coil not getting power or something? How can I check?

I really want to get thus out once or twice before winter..
Thanks.

problem solved, turned out to be a dead short somewhere in the harness. i just cut the w/b wire at the beginning of the loom, ran all new wiring straight to the coil. fires on all plugs now.
