ps1000 how does it know what gear your in?
As the title states, I was looking at my closed loop boost soliod setup and it shows boost by gear but when I look at the inputs section I dont see anything you can specify to designate what gear your actually in.
I figured it out right after I posted this lol but,
Im using the stock transmission wiring harness do you know by chance what wire it is? And how do you know how many pulses to use? right now its set to 3600?
I dont know what wire it is as I used the patch harness.
It is guess and check as far as what number to input for the pulse per mi. Mine is 1650/mi but I also have a 4.30 R&P. It should be somewhat close. Just bring a GPS with you and go for a drive and change the number till they match up.

You should use a Hall sensor. It will provide the required square-wave signal. The Mazda crank sensor is VR, not Hall. Basically, you're looking for something with 3-wire connection, not two. If you can't find anything locally, let me know. We can send you something.
