Need quick help please! How to get tach working? Haltech Sprint RE

Hey guys need some quick help as my car is goin on the road tomorrow. How do I get tach working? Running haltech sprint re. I have my tach wire going from the cluster to the tach output on the ecu but it isn't working.

If you used the correct wire, setup the ECU with 12v pull-up, 4 pulses, and 50% duty and it will work.

So I checked today, it's on the settings you said but not working. I went from the tach on the cluster to the tacho output on the haltech.

That is the only answer. Not sure what else you're looking for.

Not the proper thread to ask this prolly but how are the ratings and review on the Haltech Sprint RE with the rotary engines ? I heard bad things about the timing having issues and stuff, does anyone have decent powered rotaries running Haltech Sprint RE's ? ? Dunno if I should switch to a Microtech as it seems to be the more favored PCM..

No bugs that I am aware of. We've sold and installed many Sprints and rotary and piston engines and have never had a complaint. From you're other post, you have some sort of setup issue that needs to be addressed.
