Unhappy Has my E6k died?

Hmm, running out of ideas here...
A few weeks ago I started my car on a friday night just to let it warm up and idle. It was fine and ran for 10-15 minutes. Didn't TOUCH anything. The next morning I went to start it and it was kicking like crazy, like it was very lean. Eventually it started but ran like ****, was very lean running 16-18 ratios. Very rough, but did rev up and wasn't dying out. I even tried multiple maps but came up with the same result.

I posted in the 2nd gen section and determined it was a lazy/failed injector. I did verify they were both clicking though. Fast forward 2 weeks and I have obtained a second pair of injectors. Again verified they both clicked by manually turning the CAS. Tried to start the car and same result! I couldn't possibly have 4 dead injectors
I have 40PSI base fuel pressure, and I hear the pump running. Coils are firing. I figure if the coils were bad the car would be flooding/rich. But it is too damn lean it can barely start! Compression is there on both rotors. I did some logging and the injectors seem to be firing with normal Ms.

What is happening? I'm thinking the e6k died what else could it be?

OK something wrong here, but maybe this info will help. Like mentioned, nothing changed overnight and the engine had always run fine prior to this. When I manually turned the CAS, I could hear the injectors firing. I could also hear the coils. However, I heard the TRAILING coils. I always though the LEADINGS were supposed to fire during cranking?! Unless my ears are playing games with me, I could swear I hear ticking coming from the trailings!

Thoughts?

1 - What is your staging bar set at? If it's near zero psi you might be hearing the secondary injectors clicking when you are spinning the CAS. Get a set of noid lights and hook those up to the primarys and spin the CAS over. This will tell you for certain if you've got continuity on those circuits.

2 - Pull the plug wires off the spark plugs and stick spare plugs in them and ground them to the fenders. Again spin the CAS. Now you can see the actual spark kernel and know for sure where you're getting spark.

3 - Have you pulled the plugs and checked them?

Thanks for responding.
1 - Not the secondaries. I Know because I had the entire intake off and un-clipped them and tested only for the primaries, which are clicking.
2/3 - Like mentioned, I heard the TRAILING firing, but I was led to believe the leading should be firing for cranking no? The plugs looked ok, a little build up, but they are not totally caked up or anything. you can still see plenty of metal.

I did run more tests yesterday, since I didn't hear the leadings firing... I have not physically pulled the plugs and ground them to check for spark, but I should be able to hear the leadings click like the trailings no? Just to make sure everything was quiet, I disabled the injectors as to not get confused with hearing too many things. I even got more paranoid and went back to the haltech harness and verified the pins/wires weren't backwards or something. I even tested using a LED and verified the leadings were getting power, and the signal from the haltech. The wiring is 100% correct. For the hell of it, I even swapped plug wires, and tried testing with the other plugs. Still nothing from the leading.

I am certain I tried every possible test and am confident that the leading coil is dead. Unfortunately I don't have a spare and I am going to have to wait another week or two for a "new" one.

According to your tests the coil or igniter is dead.

Yup! I figured it was least likely a coil though. I figured a dead coil would not fire and the mixture would just be too rich. Instead it's too lean, but I guess that's possible.

Try swapping in a friends leading coil in though first, before you spend time buying a new one to possibly see the same results.

I had this happen to me a few weeks ago...swapped in a friends coil, still no leading spark, swapped his haltech for mine, leading coil fired properly. My Ign 1 driver was dead and had to send the ecu to haltech for repair.

Your tests should show you that your ign driver "should be" fine seeing as you mentioned having correct voltages coming from the harness. But for some odd reason I did the same test on my car where the leadings were seeing their 12v AND the varying signal from the ECU but the leadings would NOT fire at all ever, until I swapped my buddies haltech in.

Hopefully it is just a dead leading coil though

Well I won't be buying "new". People practically give these away. Either way, I fortunately have access to a local e6k

Thanks!

I just meant "new" as in spending a week or so waiting on the part, If you have access to another e6k I'd definitely try that quick
