i am curious to how the necessary cutting will effect people decision? and will that many people really consider going back to popups when the lighting is superior to the stockers?
I can see some people being extremely careful with decision-making in general... these are the folks that "need" to keep their options.
But there will a good number of us that will consider it a small cost for a significant gain. As long as you keep going on this path and developing what seems to be a quality product, you won't be searching for your buyers.

on a sightly different note can anyone tell me if anything that gets cut out would effect going back to popups?

it will look a bit different with the shroud on. a bit less "crowded". i also wanted a different look than the other kits. plus the 3 lights allow me to follow the lines of the bucket, head on, and over head.

redesigned (left) vs original (right) shroud/lens bracket. the redesigned doesn't have the bends made yet.

comparison between the wider redesigned bracket and the original.

thanks for the compliment. each part has its difficulty, with my project getting the brackets perfect i think is the most time consuming. but getting the shrouds the same will be meticulous.

I'm still trying to put a set of sleek lights together myself. Same concept as you, except I won't be selling anything, and I don't seem to be as good at it as you are
