The upper outer corner lights, are they running (DRL) or blinker lights?
yes, lol. i am leaving a length of wire on the back to do what you want with. some may use them as blinkers, DRLs, or running lights depending on what you splice into. i suspect the blinker option wont be very popular since there are already blinkers on the front.

there maybe (hint) another project in line that will effect the decision. gimme a bit on that one.

i am curious to how the necessary cutting will effect people decision? and will that many people really consider going back to popups when the lighting is superior to the stockers?

I can see some people being extremely careful with decision-making in general... these are the folks that "need" to keep their options.

But there will a good number of us that will consider it a small cost for a significant gain. As long as you keep going on this path and developing what seems to be a quality product, you won't be searching for your buyers.

gotcha thanks for that, its a very good point.

on a sightly different note can anyone tell me if anything that gets cut out would effect going back to popups?

has anyone recently removed their popups that knows if this will be reversible for sure?

I took mine out a few weeks ago... from what I remember those cuts shouldn't cause any functional problems

Should still be ok. The cut out doesn't look much more or different from RE Amemiya sleek light kit.

Nice work, it is an interesting project. My only feedback would be that the headlights look a bit crammed with 3 lights per socket. Could just be me though. Keep it up!

it will look a bit different with the shroud on. a bit less "crowded". i also wanted a different look than the other kits. plus the 3 lights allow me to follow the lines of the bucket, head on, and over head.

I'm still trying to put a set of sleek lights together myself. Same concept as you, except I won't be selling anything, and I don't seem to be as good at it as you are
The shroud is definitely the tricky part IMO

redesigned (left) vs original (right) shroud/lens bracket. the redesigned doesn't have the bends made yet.

comparison between the wider redesigned bracket and the original.

thanks for the compliment. each part has its difficulty, with my project getting the brackets perfect i think is the most time consuming. but getting the shrouds the same will be meticulous.

I really hope this turns out as nicely as expected, now I just have to figure out which one of the fantastic kits on the market (both pop-up and sleek) to purchase.
