part of what i was going for was an updated look. my priorities are as follows,
1. quality lighting
2. a clean look that maintained the stock lines
3. updated 21st century look
(4.) have a few aspects that people can personalize for themselves.

i feel the same way $lacker, but then i would have to go the cwest style or (god forbid) frog eyes. it is still less cutting than the Re-A kit and better lighting than the stock pop-ups, not to mention any of the other sleek kits.
Seriously. There is a reason all of the good sleek kits require cutting. There simply isn't enough space or else you have a rounded bubble as with the CWest or EVO-r's.
You want nice sleeks? Be prepared to cut something.

the reason you have to cut is the length and diameter of the projector. fog lights which the other kits use are much smaller because they dont need nearly the light output or pattern of true headlights.
A Little cutting is nothing as long as I have good lighting at night and the final product looks good! So far, if I would have to rate it 1-10, 1 being worst and 10 being best. I would give it a 9 for overall without the bucket done. Once done, I am sure Dan will surprise us with one of the best sleek kit out there =].
Keep up the good work and effort Dan. Everything seems smooth and going right along =].

cutting an issue? think of all the other things you do to your car and cutting those little tabs out is nothing. Hell, its still even reversible if you really wanted. It's not like the value went down cause you cut into it.
Damn...those pictures are sure better than your cell phone. lol

it was meant as a joke, hence the smiley
although it does bother me a little. not a fan of cutting anything almost didnt put on my feed sides cause of drilling the holes in it, but i got over it.
anyways looks very promising dan
cant wait to see it finished.

Wasn't meaning anything negative by my post towards anyone.
no prob i know you didnt mean anything by it. I just didnt want everyone to think that i'm not interested in them cause of the modification needed
i actually can wait till they go into production especially if there will be a limited run.
