new sleek kit
Hey, thanks for all the time you've spent making my car look better! I guess I'll have to be down for these when ready. The current headlights have always been a placeholder waiting for something better to come along. Waiting patiently for these,

lol, just playin.
The designs are looking great. I think a big selling point would be the ablitly to retain the same color of your car in the mold of the lights. Usually the kits are unpainted and black which makes them stick out like a sore thumb. If the ablitly was there to have the housing painted it would keep the front end smooth...

thats not to say that i couldnt get them painted if some one was really that set on having them painted.
on another note there are a few more things i am looking into (dot/sae stuff), but i do have a 7 that i will be using to mock up the lights.
And thanks to Kyro-2 for the car, ill take good care of it and make a great product.
they will come unpainted. i considered painting them using stock color codes, however there are small color variations even in factory paint. add that to our paint being 15+ years old and weathered/faded and there is a lot of potential for color variation. so rather than charging more for the kit to cover the cost to get them painted and creating something that still doesnt look right, people can save the extra money and have them painted where a body shop/painter can pick the right color.
