I tried to darken the image of the light fixture, but it basically disappeared. All that was left was the lenses sitting in a sea of darkness. Perhaps someone better at PS could do a better job - I'll send you the PSD file.

I'll see what I can do with PS, shouldn't be that hard. I honestly like the way it looks, I want to see what kind of cover you use and how it sits tho.

the lenses will attach in a similar way as the C-West kit, in that they will be screwed down (instead of how the Re-A kit with an adhesive). will the speeds these cars can achieve i trust a mechanical connection to a chemical one. as far as far the shape i intend on using a stock cover.

any other questions just ask.

wonder what a cover like R-magic kit would look like? and would it cut the lights too much. Someone photoshop that.

how's this? I haven't played around in PS in a while so I'm a little rusty, I'm sure I could make it better with some more time.

I went ahead and outlined the light "tubes" to make it more visible. I also mirrored the pic (maintain shadows on the car). I know its not great but i only have MS Paint to work with.

I just like the look of the R-magic sleek kit...makes it look a bit more aggressive IMO. However, I'm loving the mock ups...I think it adds another dimension to see it darkened so if you have the buckets in CF or paint them, its gonna look good.

I'll be out of town for a week and won't have internet service, when I get back if someone hasn't improved on my PS job I'll work on it

I must admit, I'm starting to really like this design.

at this point i dont think there will be a carbon option, but it shouldnt be to had to lay some on once you get them. also i dont think that i will be offering them painted, due to color matching, unfortunatley even if the paint is in awesome condition it is still 15 yrs old and a bit faded and brand new paint wont match. if i do offer it (depending on what people want) i dont intend to guarantee the match but will use factory codes.

the main reason im not taking notes from r magic or rotary run lights is that they cut into the bumper. i want these to fit with out body modification (minus the removal of all the popup stuff).

perhaps one of the vendors like Chase or Devari would want to make molds? Or lay CF over them for you....anyway that doesn't matter so much in the grand scheme of things. I figured we would get rough bases and then we would paint or CF based on our own personal preferences. I wasn't thinking the entire bucket to change to cut into the fender so much as just having the top cover resemble the rmagic one not necessarily the whole piece.

I don't really like the "tubes"... Maybe if they were just more molded in looking? Also, what about moving the main two lights slightly rearward?

using the r magic style i think would create too much of a stubby lens

truth be told my design bares a lot of similarity to the C6 corvette lights. once i get to the actual mock up i will tweak some things.

unfortunately i have not been able to find work and am currently unable to continue progress.

what's left to say? I don't think people have much until they start seeing mock ups and prototypes. What are you looking for? Anyone else have anything?

Yeah, I think they look pretty good as they sit in the picture. Not too sure if I could critique too much about them.

I think the three lights look alright. I'm still on the fence about the LED is all. I know it helps show the shaping of the light and helps the flow but I'm just not sure yet how I feel. I do like the two main lights and their placement. And the shading in the corner of it. It may look better with a lens but it looks like it just kind of...drops off I guess. Doesn't seem to flow from the hood. But in all honesty it took a lot of picking at it to be able to come to that and doesn't affect my opinion of the light at all.

What about the LEDs keeps you on the fence? the idea of them being LEDs? or the lines they create?

all i can offer as far as the lens goes is how a RE-A kit looks with and without the lens.
