Yeah, sorry, the update is that I have been bombarded with work and have not got a chance to get to the FC vmount. Also I can not go with some stuff that I wanted before. I am currently researching what will work best for the FC vmount application that will not interfere with any rules for any racing clubs. The FC vmount will be a bit tricky to make. Right now my main concern is the radiator and oil cooler set-up. I have switched back to using the koyo radiator because its core is a littl over 2 inch thinck on their racing series rad.

But I really need to finish this project, I understand that I may have upset some of you in the delay or even lost some sales to someone else. But I would rather make a good kit then to push something out to just make cash<----- I'm starting to sound like a broken record player...lol

the more it gets delayed the more car funds people might have set aside waiting

when this project first started I was done spending money on the car, now I have been thinking about it again.

Going to see how temps are this summer with the AC going, if they are still where I dont like them a V-mount might be my answer

Thank you all very much for your understanding. It is tough when you have to finance it on your own even if the owner of the car will get an awsome deal on the kit. Also it is even more hard when other things pop up that have to be dealt with before I can finish this.

I am working on a set-up that needs to have the same rad and oil cooler for all three vmounts. Only the i/c will be different based on what your whp goal is.

Twin 25 rows will also be an option too.

If someone already has twin 25 rows or after market twin oil coolers they can use the oil cooler in the kit for what ever they want or it can be deducted from the price of the kit.

it would be good if the test car had a FMIC and went to this set up with NO other changes
My only reason for this is increased cooling

There will definitly be increased cooling, not only because of the vmount. But because the rad will also comes with a nice cooling fan assembly.

I am saying this here and I told Funkspectrum how I am addressing the cooling issue. I am curious as to see what other company will use this idea since I have seen no one with what I am about to tell you.

I have finally decided that I will have the radiator a little taller then usual to compensate for a few less rows. Next to the radiator will be the oil cooler. One dual fan shroud assembly will cover both units. The fans will have a preset temp sensor that will be tapped into the radiator end tank and not pressed in between the fins like some other kits. I will look into different temp sensors so that you guys can have a range to choose from. It would be nice if it has a controller, and I have seen a kit that has everything I want, the sensor, controller and all wiring. The I/C will almost be flat and is really meant to be used with a vented hood but it will still work without one since there will be some ducting to isolate the air between the cores. The a/c condenser will go over the rad/oil coolers for those of you that want to keep a/c. The ps cooler will sit in the back between the rad and i/c. I cannot close off the back because it will create a pressure wave and turbulence, which is why I have to leave a gap between the back of the cores. That is where the ps cooler goes when I say the ps cooler will go in that back of the cores. In this configuration all cores get fresh air and that is the most optimal set-up where one system will not affect the other.

So you heard it first here. That is the basic system you'll be getting.

I will use a koyo race radiator core that is a little over 2" thick and I will be using garret cores for all three set-up, maybe a PWR core for the smallest IC. But definitely Garret cores for the high power applications.

It will be easy as pie for you to change between cores because the rad/oil cooler setup will be the same between them. So if you want more power you can get a larger core, if you want to down grade you can get a smaller core. No more buying a new complete vmount for a future different set-up for you guys.

No frame cutting. No drilling. Maybe some wire splices but I do not see that being a big deal.

100% bolt on like my new FD vmounts.

I will make it so.

BurntOrangeT2,

Thanks, but I really do want to look at anyone as a competitor, more as were just have more stuff to offer the community.

They have slammin prices as they are able to make their own stuff and have some good connection to sell stuff for super cheap. I wish I had their skill in building engines, making roll cages and having my own cnc machine.

But I have to admit that my site has been up for over 6 years in the current design and I was kind laughing when I saw how rotary works website looked. It looks like who ever did their site saw mine and used it for the concept. I am really jealous, it looks good. But I am very happy with what I have.

So I am flattered when I am compared to another vendor such as them, but only when they kit is done and tested vs other kits can I say... "**** yeah, my **** rocks!" lol.

OK guys, here is an update, but probably not the one you really want. I have been side tracked due to an unbelievable deal. I got a 5spd 95 FD for 3200. Theft recovery but has tein suspension, 99 turbos (needs primary turbo rebuilt) and a nice blown ported motor. Red with black leather.

So this is why I have been delayed. Sooooo, this car will sit as I now refocus on this FC vmount kit.

Sorry about the delay, just wanted to be honest with you guys.

If I had the authority, you would be banned for flooding this thread with off-topic, pointless, and repetitive questions that have been answered a million times. I know you're trying to increase post count, but do it somewhere else.

wow, amxone, you just reminded me of when my kid was 3.

yeah bro, wrong thread for those questions.

Everyone else who has patiently been waiting, this thread shows who has been waiting and will receive an automatic 100 off the GB price.

So who ever is in this thread before this post, except for amxone, will get 100 off GB price for waiting.

We all know that GB price is already a discount of the kit. You guys will probably save like 300 or so.
