New bolt question

Doing a restore on a 79, most of the bolts are not in great shape.. rusty crusty etc.
Is there a good source to obtain new ones reasonably priced?
Most are the usual 10, 12, 24mm.
Thanks!

for nuts and bolts and stuff Mazda has most of them available still. they have been using less gold in the zinc plating, so the new bolts are more silver, but still they are available. they tend to be expensive, $1.50 each is a ballpark. i've been working a little with Kypero and we have the beginnings of a Mazda part number to bolt size/style sheet, with pics

plan B is to have your old ones re-plated, the gold factory coating is a zinc dichromate, which is pretty common. the dull grey coating is a Cadmium which is tricky to find as its really really toxic. i haven't actually done this yet, my local place can do it for $50, but they don't specify a unit, so i don't know if its per bolt, per pound, per batch....

plan C, go find a 1990-2005 Miata and take all the bolts/screws off of that, i'd suggest one in a junkyard.

in reality, you will probably use a little of each of these

A friend of mine used to work for a shop that did a lot of restorations, the plater that they used charged by the batch. He'd throw handfuls of his own stuff in with the shop's stuff because it wouldn't cost any more money to do so.
