Is this eshaft usable?

It looks like there is a bit of rust on the end but im not sure, im most likely buying it so i just wanna know if its usable? HELP PLEASE!!!

Need closer/better pics. If you can feel any ridge or groove with a fingernail, it's toast for sure. You will also need to mic it.
