4 Rotor Scoot Prototype 24A
Scoot prototype Engine - 4 rotor from Japan
I wasn't sure where to post this so sorry if its wrong... I've played with it for about 6 months now and may consider selling it. So estimated value on a used prototype 4 rotor anyone? lol
12A based 4rotor.
I believe this is one of the original Scoot prototypes that lead to the development of their 4 rotor kit & motors. I say prototype because that's what i got told by who I got it from, as well as the research I've done points in that direction. Un refined counter weights, things like that.
When I bought the motor it was half diss-assembled. A guy who was a friend of a friend…. who had brought it back from Japan, stored it for a few years then partially took it apart. As time went on he never got back to the project, things started to get miss-placed and damaged. So my goal when I bought it was to figure out what it really was as far as 4 rotors motors go, as well as re-assemble it for display or possible use.
Overall now that I've been working on it, I don't see any reason why this motor wouldn't run as it is, all the signs i see show that the motor has been up and running for a fair duration in the past. All the parts look good and usable and the rotors have evidence of normal carbon build up.
If anyone knows anything more about this block i would be happy to hear it.
