That's odd, I thought they would charge me the $5. Doesn't make sense for them to charge you. I PayPal'd another $6 to cover that and the PayPal fee...

I'm having seconds thoughts about whether I need this clutch... And now that a 6th buyer has joined (Trout2) it looks like I won't leave anyone hanging if I opt out. Guess I'll wait and see.

Hey guys picked this up a few weeks ago and couldn’t have been happier with the transaction from Ramy!
Fast accurate and shipped carefully.

I have not gotten a chance to get the clutch broken in yet because of some unforeseen complications. So sorry I cannot give any testimonial at the moment.

Just as a curiosity, can someone weigh the clutch and counterweight as well as associated hardware and compare it to the stock clutch weight please. Forgot to do this and it would be a good item to know just for interest.

Whew...I was gettin worried man. I had emailed ya a few times to check in on the clutch, but didn't get a response. Wanted to make sure it arrived safely, no problems, etc.

Oh and feel free to leave some kind words here: https://www.rx7club.com/fdnewbie-imports-172/new-fdnewbie-imports-feedback-thread-688350/

Thanks!

Hey also, just as a point of interest what is availability like say if a new disk was needed Ramy?

I know the carbons are very wear resistant and I cant feasibly imagine needing one….but if I did, what does it take to get ahold of the disks and what is cost on such a part when and if replacement becomes necessary?

Thanks again

edit: The manual that I received stated that disk wear not to exceed 1.7, and my disks as measured was 5.5 mm so at 3.8 mm I will be yellin

hey sorry about that, I just assumed you accidentally hit the "forward" button as there was no new info, and the tracking stated delivered….so I though no need to bother a busy guy

very grateful for the level of service, a nice change from the dealings I have had in the past and even recently with some of the rotary retailers particularly local guys that know I can just stop by and harass them and still lack the common courtesy to look you in the eye and admit things aren’t as described or take responsibility for actions.

a sincere THANK YOU Ramy!

Thanks for the kind words! And my pleasure

Oh and I'm sure replacement parts are readily available, both in Japan and here in the US. So I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it...I can take care of it should the need arise

Thanks!

Ramy,
I've got the Exedy Triple Disc and its working fantastic, but Im sure its not gonna hold forever especially since Im gonna spray it now. My question is what are the torque specs on this clutch. I couldn't find any info. and do you think this is better than the clutch Im already using?
TIA,
Ernie

I'm pretty sure my clutch fork is shot. If I've got to drop the tranny anyway, I'm not putting a stock clutch & f/w back in

Smart man. Been there, done that haha. The part # for the upgraded clutch fork is on my website btw (along w/ a few other of the critical and recommended replacement parts) if you want to quickreference it... http://www.fdnewbieimports.com/Backup/product.php?n=43
