Relax man. No need to be so edgy. I was merely poking fun (in a friendly way) that you overlooked the simplest source...Exedy hehe. Since when were vendors not allowed to joke around? Either way, sorry if it rubbed ya the wrong way (tone is very hard to read online).
Oh and re: what you read on some sites, vendors (esp. large ones that don't specialize in specific cars) tend to copy/paste generic descriptions. That's why some listed it as a push-type, when in fact for the FD it's a pull-type.

Anyway, hopefully we'll get a 5th person sooner than later. I'm anxious to try out this clutch!!

Daniels, I'd like at least 5 ppl so I can actually try and negotiate a better price, b/c the clutch isn't cheap, and I'm already getting bottom dollar for it. Oh and yes, you need the OEM counterweight. The clutch comes w/ it's own flywheel.
As for what else you need, I STRONGLY suggest you take a look at the recommendations here: http://www.fdnewbieimports.com/Backup/product.php?n=43 and get those parts as well - ESPECIALLY the clutch fork. You don't wanna spend all that money on a clutch, skimp on the smaller parts, only to have to go back in again. That's a lot of labor for nothing...
patriick, the US website sucks lol. It basically says "we sell clutches" lol. Dunno why it's like that
And I feel you...I wish this clutch was gonna work w/ my application, but it won't. But I assure you you'll be VERY happy w/ it. I've read nothing but rave reviews about it, and all my customers have loved it thus far

yo
this just happens to be the clutch i was looking at for my fd, had the regular exedy twin but figured itd be too harsh for my taste so i sold it. but i would like some questions answered before i jump on the band wagon. first worst case senario what would the price be and if its lower when purchased ill just be happier? second it didnt mention clamp load and capable torque/horspower so what are we looking at, my understanding is the higher the disk temp with these the more it will hold correct?
let me know i will be out of town the next two weeks but pm me i will try to get on a computer everynow and then till i get back
thanks

as for the clamping load, it uses new technology that does not have harsh engagement like a organic twin clutch like you had. lets just say it will have peddle feel like stock, but capable of handling 500+hp.

proz07, if you want a ballpark figure that is NOT considered an accurate quote (ie don't hold me to it), the clutch is about $1700. That's for estimate purposes only. Depends on the discount (if available), exchange rate, etc. So if you want a safe amount to start saving for, save about $2K.

Yes they're being imported. They're $2500+ here in the US.
Re: ETA, depends on how fast you guys need 'em. Those who aren't in a hurry and want the max savings, I can have 'em shipped slow and cheap. For those who want 'em like yesterday lol, I can have 'em express shipped. Takes only a few days. But of course, it's more expensive.
Oh and before you ask, I'm not quoting shipping prices right now
