Red face Far east needs more boost!!!

Guys!

What can we do to make this section more entertaining, more fun, more trafficked, etc... etc...

I enjoy reading the lounge on occasio, I enjoy browsing my old home the west section, I like the tech threads and gen threads.

Let make the far east a happening spot

lets see... New thread ideas that could be ongoing threads.

"Post a part thread". If you happen to swing through an Up Garage and see some 7 or rotary specific parts you post up where and how mucb?

We have an events sticky so how about a "group race event scheduling" thread. I know Kenn Chan is going out this month to Ebisu as well as next month. Can anyone else make it for a meet and greet, or even to run?

We also have lots of experienced rotards in this east section and hardly ever see some technical questions. FDmuri thats you buddy. Time to ask the whole world how to get those darn rear tail lights out hehehe oops or was it rear wing.
Hehehe

Anyhow we need some more topics and threads so the thread jacking can begin and we can form a bond either through hate or love either is fine with me as long as somebody bring the lube!

Well one of the new guys here in Yokosuka just popped his FD motor, it had a TO4R with PFC running 850 x 4 and he tried running it on pump gas when it was tuned for 100 proof. I tried to explain to him that on a motor that had over 80K klicks and had been tuned and run by a japanese shop he would definatley need to run high Oc until he retuned it for regular ya know how newbs are

so we are on a count down to Ebisu........ we are also at the 5 month mark until the base car show (I am the POC for that as usual) anybody interested let out a yell.

There are several on Yahoo right now that are in the 4~700 range, they all need rebuilds of due to mileage, and I think that I am going to guide him in that direction, I have noticed when you walk a guy through a rebuild they tend to learn more about the car overall compared to just swapping another block in. With the fact of his car having a TO4R on it I think its better if he gets the crash course. Plus I can port it when we rebuild and get his spool to come on quicker.

Count me in

Hi Guys

Newbie 95 FD owner. Just bought last week in Tomisato. Took me one year to research and find the right car. Been working here in Narita/Tomisato for 1 year now

Anyway keen to go for runs, know the best spots, check out events etc.

Few of us are going to the next Super GT race in May. One of my mates who's coming drives a RX8 but we won't hold that against him

Love to hear from you all

Kenn, I have a 98 motor out of the wrecked 98RZ I had a couple months back. I will check on the mileage but from what I recall it was good to go as we did a comp. test on it and I think it was in the 9's.
