the collar is the part that uses the tool that looks like a hook. the only thing the coil touches on the bottom. two lock together to get coil pre load

wow... coilovers wont go low enough? BUY SHORTER SPRINGS
wtf heating? why. springs come in any rate, any length (incriments of 1" usually).

figure out how long your springs are, and buy a pair thats 1-2" shorter. problem solved.
stance springs can be had for 70/pair. most others are ~50-80 each.

yeah dude, don't heat your springs.. just get the right spring heights if you want to go lower.. heated springs is super ghetto... come on now..

swift springs are awesome and come in tons of different sizes... you'll have to measure up and check on their website or call them to see if they have what you need.

 

I dont understand why you would run a car with stock rims and a BN kit in the first place. Also remove your stock body trim before you put the sideskirts on.

 

Run 175mm springs up front.

 

IONNO BUT my coilover can drop the whole car on the ground with no problem.. i know some coils are made just for handling and some are for dumping, style and handling =P..... if ya'll need coilover lemme knw..
